Monitor Gaming LG 27GX704A-B.AEU (27'' – OLED – 0,03 ms – 240 Hz) is a better price
In the US, Best Buy is currently selling the 32" 4k MAG 321UPXB for $600… which is nuts (I bought one). The only real issue I've found is that the image quality gets a lot better once you update the firmware (otherwise it's stuck in store display mode.) But it's the same panel as the 321URX which is $750. It doesn't show up in monitor search on their website, you have to type in 321UPXB (and the box it comes in just says 321UPX, so it's likely some sort of BestBuy specific skew.)
Guys help me with this vs SAMSUNG G6 OLED 240 HZ –
PRIME DAY SALE ENDS SOON🤧🤧
I bought this monitor a week ago and have never seen a purple haze. That is probably because I controlled the room lighting even before I bought it. It is perfect for gaming. I upgraded from a 1440p IPS, to a 3440x1440p Ultrawide VA, and finally to this. So far, it's been a great experience for both gaming and media consumption. Money well spent imo
Agree about resolution below 32" on 2560x1440p density per inch is better than on most TVs and we have a much wider choice of GPUs, native 4k HDR 10 isn't a joke with recommended minimum RTX 4080 Super, RTX 5070ti or RX 9070xt…
Not only that Asus' names are confusing but the amount of oled monitors Asus is offering is overwhelming. I don't even know the differences anymore between these oled models. How many third gen QD Oled do they have?
Do you have any idea when are you going to have the RGB stripe 4k duel mode monitor for a review😅
Why do you reviewers show how a screen looks without turning it on? What is next? How it shows off your face when it is switched off? Please stop this. This is the same IPS glow non sense you have been talking about for 10 years or more.
WARNING this asus oled specifically has an issue where you get a TON of black crush if you set your refresh rate to really anything above 144hz. I returned it and will never trust asus again. Do not sell panels that you cant run at full settings without losing a ton of color
I'm using my 48 in tv as my monitor. Its 60p. I want something at least 144. Any suggestions. Monitor or tv.
What's the best speakers I can get for it on a budget because I play on ps5
For that matter there are miniled monitors too and while im not quite sure they definitely get a lot brighter at similar prices maybe even lower
I think the more surprising part is I didnt realize the AOC QZD2 was so low damn aoc
Compared to the dell honestly the difference might as well be 0 so all you are really getting is the sensor
Even the dell itself is not the main competition its all the other ones from acer or gigabyte or msi or even aoc even asus themselves
As an aside note asus did announce several monitors at computex so optimistically they send one or two or three for reviews heh
Or perhaps the aqdmgr compared to this
I do have to say that the difference in strategy(?) between sansung qd oled and lg woled
Sansung seems to be ok with just flooding the market with a bunch of options (msi themselves and asus too are just making like 10 or 20 or 30 of these quite literally I think MSI alone have…25 or 30 ish)
Meanwhile LG seems to be taking things really slowlyyy gigabyte is only just joining the 27 inch and 32 inch party and the ultrawides? Shrug just dell with 39
Ah ok so this one
The main issue is the price
ASUS is either in lalaland or just trying to trick people with the price (you dont want to know the price here)
And even in USA 40 days ago it was at 550 USD which is just total lunacy and then it fell to 400 (its now at 430)
Even at 400 im not convinced that it justifies the extra price compared to the other options at 400
Like if it were 350 or so maaybe theres just too many and the price difference is too big
Cough asus aq dummies
The crazy thing is the aqdmgr is the same price on newegg so welp
Theres just so many oled options right now that asus cant get away with this
EDIT: The UK pricing seems to be 430 on amazong or at least part picker says that…which completely wrecks asus
Hay can u help me fix my PC the GPU is not reading anything
I could use some 'Purple Haze'
Samsung Odyssey OLED G5 27" is cheap
HDR is something I know a lot of people love and basically demand in new games. Personally I have never seen a really good example where it enhanced the image so much in a game that I would bother to use it. Rather the opposite.
Now this is me and my feelings, no need for anyone to feel butthurt about me saying I dislike HDR. If you like it then that's good for you.
One of my monitors can show a full screen at a thousand nits, and it's painful for me to look at. HDR games looks nice, but that's until I try to play them. I'm older than most others watching this video, I know that for a fact. And my eyesight isn't what it was forty or fifty years ago. With HDR on all details in the shadows just turn into black blobs, and I have no way to figure out if there's anyone in that dark corner. Just to be some what able to play some games I have to raise the gamma setting in the game to make things in shadows visible to me, and HDR doesn't make that better. So sure when playing my games can look "washed out" as said in this video but at least I'm able to see what's on screen. And with a old mans reaction times I need all advantages I can get.
Still watching these videos just in case something will tickle by brain.
An HDR monitor that can't even reach highlights of 500 nits? No thank you!
Got this for £330 on prime day! so excited comes thursday!😁
It's gone up on Amazon to £430 today, highest it's been in a month.
You call £340 CHEAP? Newsflash: It's NOT.
when I see Asus I don't put cheap next to it…not like how good they was back in 2008 and 2010's
edit: also it's adaptive sync which is just no for me compared to my LG 27GX704A-B that has Free Sync Premium Pro and i don't know why Adaptive Sync Runs like crap for me compared to AMD's Premium pro Version

??
Asus 350 oled thought I’d never see the day 😂
In the US the Alienware oled is the much better value considering you can consistently find it for 350 whereas this asus monitor ranges from 450-550 which I would say is more midrange pricing than budget.
Need your help buying a budget monitor for my son he has the ps5 pro and mostly plays fps really competitive he wants a 32 inch curved or flat and have up to 500 to spend what would you recommend I'm so sick of researching myself 🤯
Could you please test the Gigabyte GO27Q24G and the Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMGR monitors? They both have MLA+ panels. They are both reasonably priced. Regarding the Gigabyte, I would like to know if the display coating is equivalent to the Asus True Black Glossy coating.
guy is cool. Does good job .
