Small correction, Orochi,G305 etc. is egg shape. Superlight/Supertsrike is potato shape.
I'm 1000% okay with Kailh Black Green Dot switches. The perfect balance between the Viper Mini and DAV2 for me.
The L7 Ultra+ is my end game mouse right now.
If only it wasn’t a razer product.
The 'because I was used to it' argument is not damning against the superstrikes performance. Dudes going into a championship, hes not going to use a new mouse, with completely different tech that takes time to adjust too, hes going to want to use something he knows well. Thats not a point against the mouse, thats just someone going into a career defining moment wanting to use something hes used too, rather than something hes not yet used too.
I bought the V4 PRO and I've had people in my family complain about the sound at night that I stopped playing at night, so I returned it and got the superstrike and it's perfect for my situation. I did feel better holding the V4 Pro but its click sound is horrendous, the superstrike might be the first silent flagship mouse, and it's perfect for my needs.
The mouse isnt that front heavy, at all. I love the superstrike, never been more accurate with a mouse. If your arm and wrist can feel that its top heavy, you need to hit the gym.
I got the superstrike and i really like it. The fact it is silent is very helpful for me and its shape is good as well.
Havent tried the razer but i will eventually.
can you make same comparison between viper v4 pro – vs- vaxee xe v2
vszowie fk1-dw ???Honestly sucks they don’t do more cool stuff with mice. Keyboards go crazy with a TON of different options.
Hopefully people keep messing around with mice’s. W Logitech, unfortunate the mouse doesn’t feel right 🥲
bro finally someone who loves both logitech and razer im so happy they compete
v4 might be my thing, but super strike is good like the viper v4!
Great review. Appreciate you actually gave a definitive opinion.
for my specs i use 1 2 3, maybe because i am a palm grip mostly with my index finger in a claw postion on my super strike x2. I used to use a Glorious O2 mouse for the longest time and as soon as i got the feel on the super strike, something clicked in my mind for me. I also switched to a glass mouse pad for zero friction which personally really up my tracking with my whole arm. my gripe is that i can't snipe for shit to be honest.
Wish these lighter mice could have the tilt scroll. I use it so much for 2 extra keybinds in games on my G502.
Kind of the argument back in the day with horseless carriages, ""Yeah but my horse is my friend". Tech moves on, and it comes down to preference, but mechanical switches will be hitting the road as more companies move to the HITS. It happened with keyboards. Remember the same argument with WOOTING, "niche cheating, etc."" Now just about every Keyboard has RT/SOCD is becoming standard. So will gaming mice in a year, all the companies will have them.
interesting
I'm maybe not having both of these but I do already test and play with both of these Mice in my Local store. The only advantage that I get from Superstrike is the Sound of clicks.I like the feels of the Viper but didn't like the sound, in other hand I like the sound of the Superstrike but didn't like the feels. For shape, tbh I can go with both and still Aim very well with both. For all the features things like Latency sensor switches etc etc they had, I've said it so many times and I will said it again, I didn't feels any major different when I use it in real time gaming and this also apply to every gaming mice out there, and tbh I still couldn't tell any big differences in real time gaming sections or daily use of any gaming mice since the Original GPW & Viper Ultimate came out, and tbf I'm surprisingly still able to Aim very well even with my Deathadder Elite & my Zowie EC2 A mice, like seriously it's almost nothing different. The only matter for me is probably to choose the right shape, Weight is & was never a problem for me (as long it's lighter than the og G502 I would still doing great), and one More thing is the PRICE, that's why I'm always suggest people to just get the Chinese gaming mice or other Budget versions for them, Because it's literally nothing major different in terms of those fancy looking/sounding specs on the Paper while you use it in the real time.
Whoa, Frank. Not to cut you off. But who in the Kurt Warner is finger tip gripping the damn Deathadder?? 😂
Literal iron skillets for hands?? 😂
this is why i have high hopes for final mouse. they put in a dummy physical switch to give that traditional feeling while still giving that fast actuation.
WOW 44,000 DPI???? I WILL DEFINITELY BE USING THAT
The biggest advantage for me is the sound. I can now game when my wife is sleeping due to the superstrike having 0 sound. I was looking for a silent gaming mouse for a long time and this helped me a lot. Although the side buttons still make sound but at least I'm not clicking them most of the time.
Dude you should lower your mouse sensitivity and learn to aim with your arm. You’re going to fuck your wrist up.
I own them both, i kinda like superstrike ngl. The battery is suck but its so good in games.
I love the v3 pro, so this kinda just sold me on the v4. looks like I'll be grabbing a white one lmao
The sound of the viper lol that alone is a dealbreaker, u can hear the clicking on the next room. Naaa i ll stick with the superstrike thanks
Change the Superstrike feet to the Super Glide S. I have the Viper but I don't even use it anymore after doing this. Trust. Also change HITS to 3-1-4 it's the best feeling setting.
Just to be clear the viper v4 and to a less degree the v3 have sensor negative accelleration. We have had perfect sensors in mice since 2010s with avago 3090. Razer mice are a shame. Razer should invest less in publicity stunts and more in making actual good products.
sup nilla
things that I wish logitech fixed..
– weight, why is it so heavy
– battery life – feels like it regressed in how long it lasts
– side buttons – all the g pro wireless mice (other than the original one) their side buttons feels so mushy and terrible to click
– skates – no reason why they had to go back to the black skates…. so much friction
