Just when you thought Logitech had forgotten about you… And probably three years too late! Logitech have re-made the G305! And made it SUPERLIGHT! Despite it being heavy by todays standards! Will the G305 X SUPERLIGHT be a dissapointment like I am to my parents? Or has Logitech shown the Chinese clones how we do it in the western world?!

I'm not sure if you tested this, but I've heard reports of this mouse having spinout on fast pads, especially glass pads but also pads like the artisan raiden. Worth noting because it makes the mouse unusable for a large subset of people

2:11 I’m guessing, these might be sensors/chips that couldn’t cut the QC part for a Hero 2 sensor, and they’ve been binned down to essentially, a Hero 1.5 sensor instead.
Instead of throwing away and wasting the sensors, they probably thought it’d be best to breathe new life into an oldie-but-a-goodie mouse…?
i dearly miss my g305, but i do prefer a rechargeable mouse over swapping batts. That said, the coating changes, and price will make this a pass for me. thanks for the review WAR

Having rechargable batteries for your peripherals is a must imho. Holding back up batteries that you can swap like bullets into your peripherals once they run out is just so easy, no need to plug anything other than the batteries themselves in like 3 months maybe. And you can keep using things like normal while charging those back ups. Everything having its own internal battery is such a weird, wasteful concept to me (except earphones and headphones). Gotta give Logitech my love since the g305 is probably the best mouse out there in terms of quality and affordable price
Whenever I think "DEI hires" I think about Trump firing these supposed DEI hires and replacing them with non DEI hires (which is a DEI hire in spirit btw).
Basically replacing their competent DEI hires with incompetent normal hires.

I have the Mchose G3 V2 Pro, the click is to heavy to press and the DPI switch button is at the bottom of the mouse…Man, then I bought two G304x which is only $25 each in China, I actually like to use them much better than the G3 V3 pro and my old G PRO, besides, why everyone is complaining about the grip?? This point of this mouse is you let it move freely in your palm, if I want the grip, why I don't use my GPW or Razer Viper???

And 8 years too late. Chinese brands have given us the same thing long ago for less in both price and weight, but not less in performance. LULgitech should stick to making recolours of the GPX
all these years of buying and hoarding so many packs of pre cut pulsar supergrip for the gpro/g305 seems like it paid off. I have so many 3d printed shells and mods for the wired and 305, and it broke my heart when the mchose was still lighter, now at least the real one is best. But I unfortunately feel too used to a ulx medium at this point. But this is still on my desk.

I bought the G3 ultra sometime in 2024 with the intention to carry it with my laptop. It ended up replacing my Lamzu Thorn as my main mouse instead.
Sealed battery on any rechargeable product is trash tier by definition.
logitech is so overrated my god. I've never had logi mouse, and thats good. but I love so much my logitech g pro headphones. Logi mice are overpriced and overated lol.

VXE V3, Pretty solid clicking feel. 58g is on the heavy side tho.
I bought it to use as a daily driver so I opted for the big battery one. Costed me $70 RMB, about $10 USD, shipping included (I live in Taiwan)

I like telling people about how I mess with and mod my G305 way more than I like using it, and honestly, I wouldn't really want it to be a "perfect expensive mouse", if anything I'd have liked it to be like 20$ less, but I guess that's just the economy we live in now. Kinda looking forward to having another mouse of Theseus to mess with for another 7 years. Also about the coating, every 305 enthusiast knows you need to break these things in like a leather shoe, at least until the logitech logo disappers… /j

Such an impressive miss from Logi. It's clear that they could've made this into an extreme lightweight option compared to GPX2.
This thing is just too heavy in the era of actually lightweight mice. 55 Gr is absolute maximum for a mice to be "lightweight" in my opinion.
