In this cinematic masterpiece which can be only rivaled by Christopher Nolans “The Odyssey”, I investigate ATK’s new (1 month old) SUPERLIGHT 2C clone to see whether or not it’s worth buying, despite it’s rather high price tag. Are these price increases a sign of things to come? Will AI be to blame? Do we HAVE to have new sensors?

DO NOT PAUSE AT 0:31 PLEASE IT WAS AN ERROR I WAS MEANT TO COVER IT UP!
You're forgetting that logitech keeps using nordic 52 MCU's when even $30, $20 on sale chinese mice use 54L which gives you double battery life at same capacity. Hell logi is using 52 even in superstrike x2 which supposed to be their halo product they're literally spitting in their customers face.
Also ATK rising prices is perfectly normal now that they've established themselves as reliable brand and you're not just paying for sensor, don't forget about optic switches that you don't get on logitech lol. It's still a better product on all metrics at half the price.
i own expensive mouse's/keyboards and get equal performance out of the cheap ones iv bought
the attack shark x3 is also very similar in shape to the atk and 2c for around that 30-40 dollar mark and should also be considered if interested in something similar to this shape
God tier intro.
Except for the "shark" ones I've tried all of these clones. Just out of curiosity I got Zowie EC3 on sale and honestly, I can't see myself using anything else. All the clones now sit in boxes for the days I get that itch to try something different. Or I just use them for work and wear them down.
China day by day 📈📈📈
what an absolute scam you never even properly compared these for even a second 0:31
I got a question, how's the batterylife in the ATK A9 Mini+ or the regular Mini? Because the batterylife in my Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2c is just incredible. Even at 2k polling 1600dpi (i do not use hybrid switch mode, i use the optical mode) or 4k polling 1600dpi. Also personally i don't use middle mouse for anything, than maybe throwing grenades in fps games or my dps pot in wow so that is not an issue to me. So personally i bought the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2c, because i could just drive (10 minute drive) to my local store and if something happens, i'll just return it there and they will literally fetch me a new one off the shelf to warranty. That is one of the reasons i pay a premium. Also yeah i paid 180€ for my Superlight 2c, Finland prices are kinda crazy. I don't care though, this is gonna last me 5 years just like the OG Superlight has and it still works like brand new.
Buy a Pulsar Crazylight mouse on sale, they do those often and in my experience they've had the best build quality for the weight. I'd much rather have a 80 dollar Pulsar CL mouse than any Chinese clone, it's not even close. Also Logitech and Razer mice are on sale all the time too. Viper V3 SE costs 80 bucks without discount.
Forgot to " like ", had to come back and press the button. That's what happens when you're a real old, bald man.
me having atk a9 air and rs6 air watching this
I love my Chinese mice ATK and MCHOSE amazing quality yet cheap, Scyrox V8 as well just wanna throw that out there too
Yeah Atk kinda have a home run with mouse, although not keyboard that Mchose and Aula ( leobog bigger brother) things. Although i try the Mchose G7 and very impressed with it. Although what i would love Atk to do is to tweak the designs abit for their higher tier mouse. These brand do know how to change and compliments the original design. When i buy the Mchose G7 i surprised when the shape in reality have been changed to fit asian hand form and for easier fingers tip grip so you have some kind of hybrid grip with that mouse. But ATK raw performance is unmatched to be honest
I have an ATK A9 NB Ultra and I love it so much. I picked it up with the wireless charging dock.
Got mchose k7 ultra + a7x ultra and it's still cheaper than a single viper v4 😭
can optical switches please die.
Overdoonscrolled
Guys, learn how to solder for like a few hours and you will NEVER have any problems with faulty encoders and switches on any mouse, basically you will not care. Also after desoldering you can disassemble switches and tweak metal springs inside – so you will not care about actuation force either.
Always remember to check the used market ppl. Found and currently using an op1 8k v2 for $40 on ebay like 4 months after it came out. Basically new
0:31 bro just leaked the upcoming DiamondPlugReviews channel
Hey, i got a Rapoo VT0 air and its the best chinese mouse i~ve seen, i think you should take a look in some Rapoo mouses
Just skip chinese clones that's what I say. Mouse is way too critical of a component, and it's not that much more $ to buy the real thing. I don't understand the point. I will probably never buy outside of Razer or Logitech again. And even THEY have their quality issues… I'm just not willing to put up with the BS of the cheap stuff.
I don't think USD80 clones are worth it, because of the reasons you mention, but also because if you are price concious you can also sometimes pick up deals on the flagships or buy 'used – like new' from Amazon Resale and have a mouse with the full 2 year warranty.
I would say anything above $60 is far too much for a clone
Love my Mchose L7 Ultra +
I hate Logi with a passion.
I'm sorry but most of their products are at "meh" quality at best. GPX Superlight was cool, but then the industry caught up. HITS is a gimmick to my eyes.
The fact that they haven't dropped the weight and/or fixed the awful scroll wheel and incredibly mushy buttons; nor changed that god awful skate in YEARS is an easy turn-off.
ATK on the other hand, despite cloning other companies, actually creates fantastic mice. Quality-wise you can't tell if the mice you're holding is an ultra premium expensive mice, or an ATK. Their QC is quite good too, apart from oddities like transparent Zero's creaking.
Hear me out and this is gonna shock a lot of people, the reason I personally bought a Logitech Superlight X2 was simply that is the only company who is aware that Wireless devices on the market are not encrypted and anyone can interfere with it I rather pay the premium and suffer my wallet but I would have peace of mind. Sure nothing beats a wired mouse but after long time year use of the G502 I really do not want to go back after those long years…
fuck that i'd just buy from a company ik would have good build for a bit more then gamble with the atk stuff
My VXE R1 SE+ is amazing, love it. For $13 especially.
You need to Review the ATK Y9 Pro (black) vs the super dex !!
