Been using a Rapoo VT1 Max 2 for about 2 weeks, great mice for the price, the only issue I have so far is the firmware not wanting to update (luckily nothing critical) and the cable being too snug to plug in and too stiff to use wired
I remember when Rapoo did god awful peripherals. I worked in retail and man it always pained me to see their products on our shelves but after seeing that mouse, damn, they really really leveled up. Hope they make more shapes with the same quality.

Had the VT3 before they released the gen2,unfortunately i swirched to linux and the software dont work. Apparently the gen2 web software works for linux, just like keychron or most other chinese mice web drivers

Wet chalk… omg … trauma from GYM instantly – going to a station where some hardcore lifter / crossfiter left basically a puddle of calk worth of at least 3 people people reusing it.
I honestly can't imagine using this (also in GYM) vs just taking a 1 min break, go wash or dry may hands and move on.
Wet calk is still calk – it will be all over the place before and after absorbing moisture.

truthear gate is an awesome budget iem option for the beginning. i have switched to simgot eg280 now after using gate for a year and it was pretty decent for its price.

BTW what audio equipment are you connecting your Mic and earphones into? Is very common for people to have noise when using their standard motherboard sound connector, so i experimented by using an USB sound card that was… actually pretty decent (theres a version that has mic and headphone lines separate and a TRRS version) I think the brand is essager. Suggestions for budget audio equipment to connect mic and earphones would be appreciated
You should try the Lekato MS-02 to make some iems wireless. It is indistinguishable in latency to wired to me and I've tried a ton of wireless solutions and none have felt even close.
8:00 you can improve the mic further by using equalizer APO + RNNoise filter. worked pretty well for my IEM tanchjim zero

Describing Truthear Gate as just "pretty good" xD. In the sensible audiophile crowd the Truthear Gates, along with other stuff like Tangzu Wan'er and Moondrop Chu 2 are the default blind buy recommendations for absolutely excellent price to performance.
I won the mousepad lottery with my temupad. 3dollars full desk coverage (I have a large desk buy idk exact size) doesn't slide around at all incredible glide, pretty even on X and Y axis and good print quality. Been using it for over a year and its in perfect condition.

Truthear is now a well-established brand in iem scene even though they just started like 5-6 years ago (that's pretty much an ancient time in iem scene). Gate is their budget one but delivery a decent sound quality although it can be a bit "harsh" (this means the highs will gets emphasize) which can be behefits for games that needs sound in highs (like footsteps or something like that) but overall it's a good iem within this price range.
And for the "Salnotes", Gate has the same "tone" as that one so that's probably why it suits you. But Salnotes itself already have V2 (updated version) called 7Hz Zero 2. They have the same shapes but Zero 2 would be more "tasteful" as they put more bass and lessen the highs which will be better than Gate if you want to listen to the music and less for the gaming. Price is in the same range.
Have been using the Truthear Gates for the past couple of months and I can vouch for them. Really solid IEM pair for the price.
