Logitech is back at the cash grabs again. Personally, I would go for the older models that had real buttons, instead of those haptic ones. Currently, I have the Superlight 2, and I feel no reason at all to upgrade; I’m just not a big fan of how the haptic buttons feel, personally.
I dont get this why companies still make mouses so often ? Am using DeathAdder v2 x hyperspeed witch came out in 2021. It is as good as any wired mouse. Why waste money on useless shit that we already had like 10 years ago ? Ur not going to feel any performance difference.

idk dude its far from a big miss. All it really is is a Superstrike that charges faster, has better battery life, better MCU, and better colors. Logitech has no reason to listen to these "mouse enthusiasts" on what to change if their current formula is not only the best selling, but also the most used amongst pros. All of these WLMouse and GWolves kids think the Superstrike is bad but you dont see pros using those mice, the best aimer is a G Pro user, and the Superstrike has the best tech in it right now and it will be awhile before we see Razer implement anything like it. Weight doesnt need to be lighter if pros and most gamers already prefer the 50-65 gram range.
The price is perfect, but the battery life of 135 Hours? Its good imo, specially the black coating makes it nicer. Im sure the price is kinda insane but 200 Dollars is better than 300 Dollars.

man Logitech stay in place for years now, sure HITS is fine technology, but they stay in the build quality since superlight 2 and partially since superlight 1. Same bad side switches, same overall build, same skates, same scroll, same weight and etc. What changed here is a bit better battery, weight balance compared to X2 which is probably best improvement, better HITS and that's it. Nothing more for freaking 200$. I understand HITS was their main reason to do, but how u can't improve other things alongside it. Look some mouses even nowadays getting optical scrolls and overall better quality over years, but not logitech… If other mouses gonna use HITS with it's other better build quality then rip Logitech. Logitech main power is HERO 2 sensor that is really good and "safe shape" that a lot of people got used to, that's why it will be still very popular.

their new pro x control pad doesnt even use powerplay which makes this mouse pluck even more ridiculous

Awesome video Frank! Your honesty despite your revenue loss or gains have always kept me coming back to your videos seeking your opinion all these years. Personally I had stayed away from Logitech products these past few years as I find their prices are getting ridiculous and no longer value for money. Charging these insane prices for their "gaming products" to pay for all their marketing and Esports sponsorship. By the way, where is your little kitty? Haven't seen him/her in your videos in a long time.
Imagine paying $200 for the same mouse and they only changed or did (1) ((MINOR)) adjustment to it calling it ‘x3’ lmfaoo!
I LOVE my power play matt! Keep that shit in the mouse. I haven't had to change a battery or charge a mouse since I bought the matt.

Logitech is a legacy brand at this point. not expecting much from them. i only trust them to keep giving me the g502 or g502x for my productivity mouse, even that took them 8yrs… if you want a pro gaming mice they are the worst choice. Same shape different gimmicks, always screwup simple weight cg then update it within a year?! 200usd hmmm a mouse that's almost half a entry GPU, think again.

Logitech will only come to its senses if it gets a wake-up call in the form of its stock price getting cut in half.
I use powerplay on my x2, and I bought it this year. I put it under my desk size mouse mat and it works well, never have to charge.
Finally, a reviewer with some balls. I'm sick and tired of everyone just saying it's good buy it… I stopped following many other reviewers that never leave a negative review. Kudos 2 u good sir for this review!
Very nice review, really appreciate your input. I wanted to upgrade from my super light to a super strike, and didn't have the superstrike 2. Would you say it's still worth getting then if it's not just an upgrade from the superstrike 2 or wait for the clones?

Unpopular opinion, but this is such a great update. New colours and overall “iphone S” kinda update. Maybe Logitech could have discontinued the X2 and replace with “New X2”.
Powerplay is peak. And 50+ grams is also peak. Peak = any point past this is diminishing returns at astounding increase in price.
Just think about it, X3 now costs $30 more for incremental improvement. Thats literally diminishing returns.
All the points are valid.
For example, pros dont use powerplay. Real pros get actual value from a different mat. Pretentious ones, sure. Perhaps Logitech could release one without powerplay. But dont use weight as a justification.
Hero sensor, amazing. Even Gen 1 is amazing. Its just like 1k vs 8k polling rate for an extra ugly ahhh dongle on our desk. Sure. Whatever floats your boat.
But dont jump on the wagon because of diminishing returns.
