Apple doesn't even compare to Samsung and Android.. MY personal opinion..

21 Ultra looking like TopG Tate, 13 pro max definitely look like a geek

Love the civil comments, a lot of comparison videos I watch are full of either Android Elitists or Apple fanboys fighting amongst each other. I’m in the same boat as a lot of people in the comments. I’ve owned and used a few IPhones (Iphone 2G, IPhone SE, IPhone 6S, IPhone 8 Plus, IPhone XS and the 13 mini) and have owned my fair share of androids (Galaxy S4, Galaxy S6, Asus Zenfone 2, Xiaomi Mi 9T pro) and I like both for different reasons.

Would be wonderful if a full up cost for a year of use could be calculated. Or whatever. It is for buying or renting applications that are in common use, given we can assume Gmail on both iOS and Android are free. I worry that I am being bled to death and forgetting about the rental fees in terms of total cost of ownership. Which if I had some benchmark of that or people that do what I do and we must sort into categories, with some assumptions about what's good enough in the app free versus paid that would be nice to know before I make a choice. Google drive versus iCloud etc I think are both free to begin with and then there are paid options for more services and larger store and features. So pick a common subset and include that in the analysis for a total cost of ownership. Would be greatly appreciated. Regards George.

As someone’s who had both, the only thing the S21 Ultra has over the 13 Pro Max is the 10x optical zoom. The iPhone simply beats it in everything else. Battery life, screen, animations, SOC, facial recognition, build quality, quality of third party apps, software updates, overall ecosystem, customer support, etc. The S21 is a jack of all trades and a master of nothing. You can’t even take a decent photo of anything in motion on the S21 without it being blurry or having to spend a minute or two tweaking the pro mode.

I’d say when it comes to display quality. It’s a W for both sides, sure IPhone is Oled and Oled is known as the best because of its true black, but there’s the issue that it won’t last very long compared to Samsung’s. Due to the horror we call burn in

After owning S21 Ultra for almost a year now, let me tell you honestly!

Pros:
Its zoom is amazing, useful, and awesome for real! It's not a gimmick, it's not something to look at just in reviews.
Display is awesome, speakers are awesome, even have some bass.
Battery is good, can last a full day with a lot of use, unless it's hot outside..
Performance is fine, or was until One UI4 arrived…

Cons:
Very easy & fast to get warm, especially in warm days, and too hard to cool down. Graphite doesn't help at all! My Note10+ was much better in that regard.
One UI4/Android 12 fixed everything about looks, but ruined performance & animations. It now has more stutters, frame drops, and lag in normal use.
Still an android, with its Android issues, annoyances, and stuff.
Mine did get stuck in bootloop (twice!) in this month, 1st time cuz I changed my Samsung account email, and 2nd time after the latest update. Had to hard reset it!

I'm now finally looking forward to iPhone 14PM wishing I'll have a way better smartphone usage, never had an iPhone, I was a Samsung fan, but now I'm more frustrated than happy

The only thing I can truly argue about is video is, all my iphone friends and family are always looking for a charger because their phone is about to die

This video helped a bunch, I'm debating switching my s21 ultra for the iphone 13 pro max, I've never owned an apple product my entire life so its a hard choice

I got the 256Gb real iPhone in serria blue, but I wish it had the 10x optical of the fake iPhone, although the better video more than makes up for it.

Literally not me wanting an IPhone 13 pro max because of the better 3x zoom photos, the video quality, and the fact I never have owned an iPhone and I think it'd be good to learn about Iphone… but overall if I wasn't so video and short zoom photo selfie obsessed samsung would win as always… but the main things I want are good video and good close up photos but I can't get that with the new samsung🥺

Had the Iphone 13 pro max for a week. Bought brand new boxed. Buggy, unstable, and eventually locked up, totally unusable. Took it back to Optus. Going back to my Samsung S10 plus. No problem now. Maybe bad batch but I'm not an authorized Apple testing facility.

Time out! You say the I phone has amazing battery usage. Yet you also say it can't run crap in the background, like uploading a video to Instagram. Do you see where I'm going with this? A phone will have amazing battery life if you have to only do one thing at a time! I hate when reviews contradict themselves!!!!!!
