Samsung is hoping to give Apple a run for its money. The tech giant just announced a trio of new Android tablets called the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Are there stand/holders for the Samsung S8 Ultra where one can adjust the height like that of a PC monitor?
I can't really see the point of having the Ultra variant as I see much better value having a Windows tablet instead. Out of the three variants, the 11" Tab S8 will be my preferred choice. However, since Samsung announced that they will give four major OS update to 2022 and 2021 flagships, I'd think very seriously about buying a used S21 with a lapdock like the NexDock 360 or the UPERFECT X Pro.
tabS8+ for me, ipad might be big but not the best in giving the user complete freedom to do what we want our way not apples way. apple might have other choices but again gotta pay with apple its all about making the user poor gotta pay pay break pay buy it again break buy break buy. kinda like american cars, thats why honda and toyota offers more like samsung.
I had both the iPad pro 12.9 and Tab S7+. I gave away the pro.

Much better 2022 tablet than ipad 9th which is great value for money, don't get me wrong, but an old looking device with lightning cable instead of usb-c and no laminated screen. Also no option to use it properly as a desktop like a Samsung can with DeX. Ohw and for Ipad mini 6? Man that's a ripoff. Way too small, too expensive starting with 64gb (non expandable) and some crazy jelly scrolling 😏 The only Ipad that matches will be the Pro 2021 with m1. That's just a beast but with limitations as well. No products is flawless
Seeing reports that Apple is also testing 14” screens for a future iPad Pro, I would not be surprised if they launch this in the fall together with a M2 socket.
I wait and see for the moment using my iPad Pro 12,9” 3rh gen.

Unlike the iPad .. these Android tablets are all dependent on a google account which is about the least secure or reliable thing I would ever want my data being dependent on!

I have the Galaxy tab A7, sm-t500 and it experienced some crashes looking in Google tile news. I send couple crash error reports to Samsung and they wasn't helpful at all. This weekend they send a security update and performance update and look like the random crashes went away. To me support is everything spend that much money and don't get the right support. I'm been thinking to get a iPad but I'm not sure if I'm going to get a better experience.

I'm not impressed with this screen size because of the aspect ratio of 16 : 10, which at 14.6 inches results in exactly the same screen width in portrait orientation (important to me) as a 12.9-inch iPad (4:3). That is, it is the same width, but taller/longer. And for the dumb notch, I'll say nothing at all.

The Galaxy S8 Ultra is a MUCH better all around Tablet than the iPad Pro with regards to display, practicality, functionality, and compatibility with other non-ios ecosystems, like their Google & Microsoft partnership. EXCELLENT move by Samsung. The world does not revolve around Apple. They will fall on their own sword, only a matter of time…..
