I think you need to check your connections in your house for your doorbell and get a more powerful amp because the G4 doorbell that I put in has none of those problems as in no audio delay none of that stuff I went above and beyond the power that it said it's required and it works flawlessly audio quality is very crisp and clear through talking I was so shocked how good it was none of that rattly stuff that you had
With everything coming out about Eufy, I would update recommendations to avoid their offerings.

Great review but dang I wish you included the Simplisafe doorbell cam. I have that system, but also the Nest doorbell from years ago. Debating on if I should replace it for the simplisafe one for a “unified ecosystem” but I’m nervous it will be a downgrade in response time, video quality, etc.
I got the Ring first. it never really worked during the 3 months i had it. No alerts etc. Dozens of calls to customer service who sent me 2 warranty replacements– all the same. I had to reboot the device, the phone, router several times per day just to keep it working. I believe the Ring has issues with certain phones, routers. I got the Eufy 2k and it works great– same phone, router and location. I wish there were better instructions. But after some time i dialed the motion sensitive very low to stop false alerts. I want an alert to someone on my porch that is all and the Eufy does that. Not saying the Ring is a bad product. But it didnt work at all for me.
After what Google is doing with the Nest brand, it's hard to recommend them anymore. I wish Ring had 24/7 recording as it's video looks great. I am deep into the Google ecosystem, but they've killed it as far I'm concerned. Probably gonna have to go with Eufy. I am looking into SimpliSafe's doorbell as well.

I would pay more for a tiny camera separate from a small doorbell button for a cleaner install. All of these look like wall warts and are just ugy.

I own several Eufy cameras and I am regretting it. My door bell seems to only send me a notice only when I walk in front of the damn thing and will not when strangers come to my door. Also sends notifications when it feels like it. What a freaking waste of money.
