I prefer Waterfox. It’s just a nice browser.
Don't agree with you Linus, although edge do comes bundled with windows it's not actually half bad, runs pretty well with windows and support all feature from chrome. And Google itself is giving chrome bundled with their chrome os. And does not provide options to change it
Chrome and edge are demonic creations, we should use Firefox
As well I cannot uninstall default browser on Android or iOS. It is bundled with the system. And what? No complains whatsoever. (comments on monopolistic practices)

I will always use Firefox. Screw chrome and edge. I don’t support monopolistic companies. Plus I just prefer Firefox.

Edge is installed as the default browser for the search bar. And you CANNOT change it. You used to be able to change the edge protocol to use another browser. NO MORE. They disabled that. So now we're stuck with bing on the search. Sad thing is, I actually do like the search. It's actually helpful, but Edge ruins it
I like Edge, minus the shopping ads. Edge uses 21.6% less RAM than Google Chrome. Also, the shopping ads & discounts are helpful when you actually need something to buy. Although it is annoying when you are not shopping.
Regarding the vertical tabs: If you actually compare the two, when collapsed they don't actually take up more space than the traditional tab bar, and in fact considering most screens are wider than they are tall, they technically take up less space. Though for practical purposes it is the same space. But in my view the issue isn't actually that they are taking up space, but rather that they don't let you reclaim the vertical space that traditional tabs take up. I know you guys have often lamented the insistence on 16:9 aspect ratios on especially laptops, and that a taller aspect ratio is much better for productivity. In my view, this is somewhere Microsoft could actually apply their gearing towards the professional market, making their browser window (and other things) set up for a productivity-focused user base. But because they don't seem to merge the top bar with the search/extensions bar, that just doesn't happen, which is really too bad. I personally would like to see it become more common for programs to offer the option for ribbons to be placed on the side of the screen. After all, top-bar ribbons came about in a time when most displays were 4:3, so placing it on the side would make the screen too narrow. But now with the prevalence of 16:9 displays, I think it makes much more sense to at least provide the option of placing more of the ribbons on the side of the window rather than the top, since vertical screen real-estate is in much higher demand.
This is why I use Firefox. Would love for Linus to do a more in-depth video about them. They’re a really great non-profit that sponsors a lot of local tech initiatives in cities like Eugene, OR

Best feature of edge over chrome for productivity is vertical tabs & being able to group your tabs. It’s incredibly useful to keep your browser organized and keep track of several tasks at once. I think edge is better than chrome. But definitely won’t deny Msoft very annoyingly wants you to use edge so can understand the frustration when using other browsers
I made it so that Edge cannot work on my PC. I’ve added a Windows Firewall rule forbidding access to the Internet for Edge. Even if it opens by accident it just doesn’t have a connection to do anything.
Microsoft using windows to pedal a garbage chromium browser is horrible that is one nice thing with GNU/Linux and Firefox

Edge is actually my preferred PDF viewer. I refuse to use it for anything else though

Well, actually you're wrong with chrome. It was using such good strategies like auto installation with software like adobe reader. And yes, there were times when you couldn't unbundle it. Then all google services like Gmail were intentionally work slower for opera (based on user agent info from your browser). If you change that to chrome's it will work just fine.
Basically all large companies use their monopoly in every opportunity they can
