I am a simple gamer and I can tell you most of the times if dlss is on or not…I feel like this feature is only realy worth using on 4k screen. on 1080p it's realy bad

at 2k ultrawide DLSS is a big fat no for me with a 3080ti, then again i can max it out at 2k, the artifacts drive me insane but when at 4k its less noticeable I've found.

And now you can enable temporal upscaling via FSR2 mod în almost ANY DLSS2 game. Whoop whoop.
If you have TAA on then yeah, 4K will look just as bad as 1080p upscaled. But disable anti aliasing (like any sensible person who bought a 4k display for the extra detail) and it'll be night and day.

Hard to believe DLSS is allowed to exist.
This could easily double as an anti-aliasing technique in the future on smaller displays, as well. The softer look is not necessarily detrimental and might lend a more photorealistic appearance.
It's very impressive. I use DLSS 2.0 whenever it's available, and put it on ultra quality. I actually prefer the DLSS image because most games have terrible anti-aliasing, and DLSS antialiasing is 99% of the time better (yes I am talking about you RDR2 with your TAA that blurs the whole game). Really helps with trying to get close to maxing out my LG C1. I heard it's worse on lower resolutions though, and it only really works this well on 4k, upscaling from 1440p or 1440p upscaled from 1080p. I can get close to 100fps on most games with near max settings (turn off motion blur and other crap settings like it) on my RTX 3080, which is just ridiculous. It's honestly more useful than RTX as I have yet to actually play a game with ray tracing, but I do finally have one in my backlog that I will play eventually. Also can't give enough credit to the LG C1. It's the step-down model of the G1 and it's perfect for pc gaming. Amazing picture quality, amazing response times (0,1ms to be exact) and it has gsync/freesync, while being 4k 120hz. Can't really get much better than that.

DLSS is fantastic. Some games do better than others. Cyberpunk 👍. My favorite drone game uncrashed, no good. Probably on version 1.0?

DLSS is the only thing keeping our PCs at decent performance since we can’t afford a new GPU.

Just managed to walk into a microcenter and snag up a 3060ti and tried out RDR2 with DLSS. It’s pretty incredible.

maybe its harder if you don't play them side by side
It's amazing. I have a laptop RTX 3060 and sadly it's just not powerful enough for 4K60, in Witcher 3 Ultra at 4K it hovers around 45-55 FPS.
But with DLSS I can run Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition at High settings with High Ray Tracing in 4K DLSS set on Performance in 60 fps. Incredible.
