The cover are indeed metal. Waaaafer thin though… as cheap as possible and still be metal… with a injection molded plastic body being 99% of the lid/cover. my batterycover was poorly glued and fell off out of the box.. not very promising start for a 420 dollar headset

Idk if I'll ever get a steel series again just due to the bad luck I've had with their arctis pro wireless. Right earcup went out without any real known reason just a couple weeks after the warranty expired. No luck with their customer support, and the repair services I've gone to near my home are charging over $100 to repair what they said was defective soldering. Soldering is like 5 cents of resources in total. UBreakIFix if anyone is curious
I missed out on the Bang and Olufsen for $150 at microsoft website. They were getting rid of stock. They were very good at noise cancelling. Missed the sale. Hopefully these will go on sale soon.
Do someone know if you get the same mic/audio quality as the wired version, when you connect the “wireless“ version to the back of the wireless base station?
This way you can get all the benefits of both version.

Sooo you only have that big dock that needs to be connected? there isn't something small for a laptop? Do I have to use BT with a laptop then? Because I had issues with audio lag and microphone changing BT codecs on sennheiser

It's kinda pricey but ..u can simultaneously have Bluetooth on the phone while in the game… U can answer calls and not having to take off Ur headset..isn't that great!
What I didn't find is the output jack on the arctis nova headset..the arctis pro have the jack audio output w/c I can share with my GF when were travelling thru her wired headphone..it's kinda sad…
Coz sometimes I jack in my headset to a speaker in my house and play some Spotify and it's great!

all those features and you cant mute it!? kinda a bummer i mute my headset constantly to hear my gf talking to me and other things..
One thing about these headphones, they can be incredibly uncomfortable. There is a little bump inside of the earcups that can touch and hurt your ears. This happened to me so this headset is totally unusable to me. I had to return it, which I luckily was able to.

just send my pro wireless (Old one) to rma because of burn in because it had burn in. They scraped it and bought this instead. It luckily turns off with my pc an

Soooo, don't have a PC. Used primarily for Xbox. Does anyone like having a base station? Who wants to keep getting up and farting around with the knob? Plus Sonar isn't built in? Lame.

I have the SS arctis pro wireless. €350. Brilliant but the hinge has a design weakness. At 2 year of delicate use broke at the ear cup. Plastic broke. What are these like?? Looks the same
