This is what happens when you're not a freethinking Finalmouse sheep…or just any cheaply mass produced Chinese mouse with not the best quality battery. I'll stick to my new batteries that are paper thin on all my Bluetooth PCB custom keyboard builds.
But real talk that's kinda scary if your house burns down from not spending that extra $20 on a reputable mouse company.

It happens to companies, Samsung has control of entire industry and had phones all going spicy and sometimes bursting into flames. SO much 3rd party crap, all it takes is one stinker to sink a smaller company. I sorta feel bad for them. Not Samsung, they have the manpower to do proper long term QC, smaller companies with less folks also tend to have less QC testing.
