  1. Thanks for watching! If you want to know the technical side, here is how I got everything working: https://smarthomesolver.com/reviews/futuristic-advanced-automations-with-room-assistant/

  2. How do you do the automation for the weather and what to wear?

  3. Amazon probably has so much customer lifestyle data on you that they know the velocity and exact trajectory of your farts lmao

  4. The single biggest missing piece of home automaiton is person detection. Solving that problem will advance home automation out of science fiction into an actual useable reality. I’ve played with the AirTags… which can report the location of the nearest BTLE receiver that they can connect to. So all the technology needed is there… it just needs to be integrated into a home automation solution. [I consider having to have an AirTag on your person is more realistic than having to carry an iPhone everywhere… at least while in your home.]

  5. I'm surprised you actually mixed Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

(5:07) Someone who watches video on their Xbox. Wow. I'm impressed and surprised at the same time.
(7:19) Or if I were to create something like that, it'd instead be more like "it'll turn on the TV and automatically start playing Bluey".

  6. can this work with google assistant?

  7. "Wasting time on social media – better be productive and watch a movie" 😄

  8. More solutions in search of problems.

  9. Imagine being trapped in a personal hell with Alexa’s jokes. I would chew my leg off.

  10. What kind of smart shades do you have in your house?

  11. I'm due to move a d setup my system similar to this, please can you help me out with tips and advice for

I really want to get into automating things but this just seems impractical, why does an adult need to be told what to wear?

  12. Google Home does already Track the closest Position to the devices, don't they?

  13. Using a smartwatch to sync with BT, would be more accurate, since I will not have to carry my phone every time I change the room? I'm thinking about replicate this automation using smartwatch BT instead my phone.

  14. why do you need to know all the thermostat temps?

  15. Thank you for making this video. It made me realize I don't want to spend any of my time nor money on this useless stuff.

  16. Why not use the power of signal for localization?

  17. It's like Android Tasker on steroids

  18. Can you do this with an RFID insteadbluetooth? I don't carry my phone around

  19. 😑

  20. These are some great ideas. I speak from Brazil and here we are very enthusiastic about automation but is very expensive for us 🙁

  21. It's all fun when it works, but when it doesn't, and it regularly doesn't, your basically cannot turn on your light properly until you've engineered it again, this shit is the same as full self driving, it will never fully happen cause there is always a software engineer involved

  22. I’m confused by the getting the Alexa in the room you’re in to respond. It does that out of the box…?

  23. All this is cool but you don’t tell us how to set it up.your videos are not for beginners.

  24. My man having the Seinfeld automation. Nice work King

  25. Can you make a video about things going wrong? Like an accessory not responding, or re-adding it resulting in needing to redo all automations associated to that device? Think that could be really insightful

  26. “…You set the bar pretty low” 😂😂😂

  27. Blasting music when the wife is not home is a stupid routine why don’t you just blast the music when the wife is not home

  28. some of these seem a little overkill

  29. You mentioned Tony Stark. You have any idea if the voice of Jarvis exists out there to put on Alexa or Google?

  30. How could you set up this nice dashboard on the nest hub?

  31. Haha. I also refer to her as "Ali" to avoid setting her off.

  32. My echo 4th gen ring light is dim. Not bright. What will be do now

  33. You're a Seinfeld fan. Subscribed!

  34. 3:33 Congratz, Alexa has become your mom

  35. "the most friendly automations I've ever set up"
    Famous last words
