Hey everyone! So I just heard back from Razer regarding the lubed switches claim. They said that the new switches will have lube applied to the spring inside – but as I said in the video everything was bone dry. Could be that the lube dried out? Could be that particular spring has it applied too thin? Idk, cough #LUBEGATE cough jk, but yes they did say all springs will be lubed in production units.

Another reason why people like 60% keyboards is due to the price being cheaper. That's a huge reason for some people and surprised that wasn't mentioned

I'm 56, I never felt there was as much gap between my gen and my parents as today's youth. I can barely understand their command of the English language, these are the same people that attend college for 10years to get a bachelors yet correct everybody's grammar on the net.

this keyboard is perfect the only problem is that I need to press f3 a lot because I play Minecraft on smps and if you have played one you will know how useful f3-a is

Not nice in terms of sound. But the switches are an absolute dream for me when typing with a light touch without bottoming out. The purple opticals are the perfect switches for my typing style, and add in some good quality keycaps and it is enough for me to keep this bord without a doubt. I will just have to endure or get used to the scrangly noises, light weight and the sub-optimal/slightly slipperly rubber pads 😅 It's far from perfect, but it's still a keeper in my case.

How are the Liners for typing? I have purple switches, and I'd like to honestly keep those for the typing. But right now I'm looking for a travel keyboard that I could use at a coffee shop, etc. I feel like the purples would be loud and annoying

I still have this one linear mercury. Stock keycaps are great and do not have that dry pbt feel.
1mm is a bit too fast but not too bad thanks to 40 grams. Feels solid to press. No mistakes. The linear feels fantastic and very smooth to press. Sounds good, looks good, feels good, holds up good. Rgb is great, cable is great.
The only downside is phantom sticky keys but you just have to remove synapse

I wonder if there is a way to take out the silicone dampeners. I like the 60% layout of the mini. but i like the un-dampened switches of the TE.
