What if you can’t afford a heat sink but can only get the ssd can I still use it without the heat sink?

Do you have to back up any saved game data or download the latest system software update like you had to do for the PS4 before switching to a new SSD?

This is a very bad video of how to install this! He should’ve showed you should first put the screws down before you slide in the ssd first..
I hope you see this, I want to upgrade to the newest version of ps5, can I remove this after transferring my games and put it in a different ps5 without any problems?

How do you update the firmware? Needs an up to date firmware in order to get those read speeds

Can you apply a elecGate heatsink on top in replacement for the cover? Or the Sabrent cover heatsink?

btw, you don’t necessarily need a heatsink for your ssd, also, you need not reinstall the white cover if you have a heatsink too big or if u dont have a heatsink, the ssd will actually run cooler if u keep the cover off.
