A big part of the renovations at my new house have been focused on efficiency and environmental improvements, and today with the help of DualSun, we’re installing new WATER COOLED solar panels.

So. Just to say it. Only MTG thinks that solar panels don't work just fine on a cloudy day lol. What a system though. Good for you spending your YouTube mulla!! Love the stuff. Keep it up. You and a few others are feeding my new pc building addiction lol. Thanks.
I love how chill those contractors are. Canada is just built diff
BY cooling the solar panels =they become more efficient. HOWEVER Linus is WRONG solar panels are not no emissions. but cooling the panels is a good idea especially in hot places like Arizona.
3:10 and my impression or the solar panel has a damaged cell
I wish there were more follow-ups to these videos. It always seems the ending is not shown.
The difference between the focus and the blur during Jake's talking head bit bothers me so much. I don't know how hard it is, and I'm sure it was done for a quick-fix. I just feel like an over-all blur behind Jake would look better. I know the Galaxy S21 can take pictures with an auto-blur, and I believe a lot of photo apps can do that. So it shouldn't be that difficult for a video editing software to do it "automatically."
Imagine Heating or melting the Solar Panel / snow in the winter season with your gaming rack 😀
Depending on the heat you get out of your rack it might work right?
There exists panels that have 46% efficiency.
Make sure to get one of those rack doors that has a heat pump coil built in so it cools the hot air as it’s ejected from the rack. Super efficient. And have a reversing heat exchanger from the panels glycol line so when it snows and you want to melt all the snow off the panels, you can use heat stored in a hot water tank that was heated the day before via solar to melt it. Or a heat pump hot water heater. Or boiler if you must use gas. But really go all electric. I’d have a large heat pump hot water heater with the solar line running through a large hot water storage tank that sits before the heat pump water heater. Then you could control all of it via home assistant. And automations like if it’s below X degrees outside and it’s sunny and no electricity is being produced then it will send heat into the solar lines and turn on that pump to melt snow. Temp sensors to only run that pump when temps are high enough coming from the panel lines. Temp monitors in hot water preheat storage tank. On the heat exchangers. And the underside of the panels. When sensor under panels gets to 90F turn on pump. When heat exchanger temp goes below 70f turn off. Something like that.
I’d really think about dividing the mechanical room into two rooms. And on the wet side, put water proofing in the floor and walls. And a drain in the floor. Make sure no pipes are on the side with the servers. Also good time to make the walls and doors thicker insulating them and fireproofing all holes and put on a few layers of fire rated Sheetrock. And I’d put in a fire suppression system. They make gas self contained fire suppression devices that are not toxic and don’t cause any damage to electronics. They put out fires in seconds. And won’t kill you if you’re in the room. Not that expensive. It does get a little pricy if you put them into a electronic smoke sniffing system that constantly is checking the airflow for smoke and is in charge of setting off the suppression canisters.
Or at least get some hardwired smoke detectors wired into your hardwired home security system that interfaces with home assistant. Program to shut down hvac if fire alarm goes off and to maybe cut power or whatever would be appropriate. If probably have some powerful duct fans in both rooms that could be turned on to evacuate fumes or smoke.
I have a standard Honeywell hard wired security system with smoke detectors wired in as well as interconnected fire alarms. Then I use homebridge to link the alarm system into HomeKit. So if a fire alarm goes off, I have automations to automatically unlock doors, shut down hvac, turn on lights, flash lights, turn off fans. Turn on exhaust fans. Attic fans.
You should make a video of the before and after cost for electricity. Same after you install the pool with the heating system.
Next time you need solar equipment for a project make sure to call Signature Solar. We’re based in Texas, from call in tech support to bench techs for ship in repairs. And great set-up, although I think you might like the ui of the Aptos micro inverters more. Just something to think about for future builds!
in the palm of my hand
I have a sneaking suspicion LTT is just a irl guild and everyone has other jobs to support themselves lmao. I would have no idea where else all the money for this stuff would come from
In the palm of your hand
I love how the water portion is so astonishing to them. Meanwhile in Florida almost everyone house with a pool had solar panels on the roof to heat the pool.
That last expression from linus Coming from heaven to reality "Thermostats"!!!!🤣
hello, can LG officials contact me to import this product from Turkey?
The next step would be to install sterling engines for extra usage of the heat produced by the servers
Linus explain to me how solar is 0 emissions? How much coal was burned to make your panels there bud?
Sponsor: Epic Games. Footage: Steam 💀😂
Need to see more data but it looks like your current CT's are on the wrong phase. is the power used a mirror image of power produced on the app?
Can You do an update video on solar panels?
How do you feel about the Internet of things and smart controllers in reference to this video?
Am I the only one that thinks he should have put up 1 more panel so he can say over 9000?
Now that doesn't make any sense cuz I thought you were using the heat from your computer's heat to the pool what happened to that
