  1. Wrong I went from a Benq 2050A to a Benq HT 3550. The hdr colors are a major improvement.

  2. thank you very much, a great review. First time user of a projector. I would like to buy a projector for outside use and project on a large roll down screen. Not really sure about the screen either, any help would be appreciated.

  3. I now watched a bunch of videos about projectors and spend hours trying to find one that’s best for me…. I have a budget of about 400euros for the projector itself, I would like to have it 1080p and good brightness and as good of colors as possible but most importantly for me is the fan can’t be to extremely loud cuz I’ll sit right under the projector. If possible low latency cuz I would like to play games as well. I dont care about sound cuz i have great speakers. The projector will be parallel on a shelf about 290cm/9.5feet/114inches away from the projector screen and I have trouble figuring out how big the screen will be, I don’t want it to be too big so it’s on the floor and zoom decreases the resolution… One that I have my eye on is the NexiGo PJ20 but there now is a PJ30 and it’s basically just brighter. One that is basically perfect is the Optoma HD146X but the cheapest one is up for about 630bucks which is a bit much for me but might be doable when I close one eye… I would very much appreciate any help and recommendations that I can get! Thank you very much!

  4. @4:26 I would have edited that one out 😂 Jo. Great review. I want a gaming projector for console under $1000

  5. What do you think about TMY Projector 7500 Lumens with 100" Projector Screen, 1080P Full HD Supported Portable Projector, Mini Movie Projector Compatible with TV Stick Smartphone HDMI USB AV, for Home Cinema & Outdoor Movies on Amazon?

  6. My father wanted to give away our old projector , but I convinced him not to.

  7. I need an update! Did anything change? New projectors? Major price changes?

  8. Hello Everyone. I have a 120 * 100 inch symmetric curved wall in my room. My room is normally dark as it has big thick curtains. I have never used a projector before. I am not looking for a very costly projector. This place where I stay is in my hometown and I may shift next year. So looking for a portable projector may be. I am definitely sure I don't want to mount the projector anywhere in the room. So shall I go for portable projectors. But all of them come with a speaker if I am not wrong and they also have a small resolution.

  9. Need to listen when Les Grossman himself is teaching you!

  10. Hey I have a 100×100 inch screen I need a short throw that will fill it out the best? What ratio would be the best

  11. What do you think about an epson ex 7280? For home and office?

  12. Thank you for your comprehensive overview. God bless you.

  13. THERE IS A COLD WAR ! GOING ON BETWEEN PROJECTORS & TVs
IN 20 YEARS PROJECTORS WOULD HAVE WON, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL GORBI

  14. Do you need to buy a screen or can you use the wall

  15. 😁100", yeah….

  16. Smart projectors like XGIMI are easy to set up and vey convenient, I'd definitely choose a projector over a TV.

  17. Gd

  18. Walmart is selling a monster name brand projector for 400 canadian. Says it's 6000 lumen brightness comes with 120" screen Or 350 for rca namebrand 200" screen

  19. Im about to buy the NEBULA Proyector 4K as my first proyector.
it's going to be in the ceiling, about 3.5 meters from thw wall. I hope it does well

  20. No more going to the theater puting up with black people makeing comementing acting crazy at the movie any more

  21. I have the epson 3200 and I love it!! It's hard to game on a TV now lol

  22. A projector is nice, if you can find the right one for your needs, otherwise I would rather have a big screen TV.

  23. Im a rare one that loves 3d. Projectors are amazing.

  24. The one thing I needed to know was not covered. What is the minimum typical screen size if I want to trace some photos onto canvas?

  25. So do I get a A95K 83” or the Sony 4K Projector?

  26. Hey @GeoffreyMorrison, have you an opinion on UST laser projectors?

  27. worthess vid

  28. What do you think of the viewsonic m2e? I'm in the Advertising field, I'm looking for something portable and good image quality for presentation.

  29. i am a believer in projectors. i love the size and colors of the screen that it shows. to me once you try a good projector you'll never go back to tv's perfect for movies and sports actions nothing compares to them they out perform tv's big time!

  30. Hundred inch screens are very addictive

  31. I’d like someone to tell me how long they last !?

  32. To use in a room with a dimmed light, is 6000 lumins enough? Should I go for 8?

  33. "Modern Projectors are cheap" LOL, go look at the prices of native 4k ones.

  34. What about using a black screen. What kind of picture will you get?

  35. I bought 7 Chinese projectors. Currently the one is still in use is Wimius K1 projector. It has been used for more than one year, and the quality is very good. All others were broken at most 6 months.

Never regret to take one Wimius projector.

  36. This could be the year where tv’s at 86 inches crossover into 100” projector screen size?. Just measured the diagonal distance difference between the two — and I can live with it, surprisingly. I am thinking a: Sony 86” X95K mini-led might be the true 4k tv to get the job done with all the improvements to Sony tv processing power — without all the hassles of projectors regarding overall lumen brightness, panel alignment, calibration issues, colour volume etc. and bulb replacement etc.

any projector for 70 ft distance? outdoor /indoor ? thx

  37. The issues with the lesser expensive models is they are not true 4k they are fake using pixel shifting. That’s why they are cheaper.

  38. What home cinema projector would you recommend? (maybe 1080p) I have been using the Benq 2550 for a few years but I am starting to think a highend 1080p projector might have much better contrast ratio. As you say 4k resolution is not all that important as long as the 1080p projector can downscale a 4k source.

Still like my xga unit from InFocus from 2001

  39. This was very informative but I think you should have mentioned how the surface you are projecting on has a great impact on the over all experience.
Having a white wall or a white bed sheet would negate a higher investment is a quality projector.
Yes it could be its own video but would have been nice to mention it.

  40. I have 1000$ maximum to spend for projector, and i have I phone and i want to connect with the projector and watch movies. What is the best projector what i can get for my budget? Thank you.

  41. Very goooood video. You covered all issues.

  42. I Prefer modern TV quality over projectors any day. TVs are getting bigger and more affordable than ever before. A decade ago, a 65'' 1080p HDTV was worth thousands. Now they have become way more affordable to a point that allot of household have 55'' to 65'' 4ktv as standard for their living room. Next decade we will have 75'' to 85'' TV's as standard.

  43. What are the best options (if any) for Sunday game day events outside?
