I play a lot of Fantasy Sports, and I plan to use the multiple screens to have Fantasy up on one screen and pull up player stats, game times, team news ect, on the other… I dont have the phone yet, but I anticipate that would be my personal practical use
If I was just hanging out or going on long trips I would totally use the multitasking windows. Podcast screen on one, sporting event on another, and then maybe my social media.

The 3 windows… I can think of a great use-case for that… I would be SSH'd into 2 servers on the right (1 for the web server and 1 for the DB server) while testing the website in the browser window to the left. Good for if a server is experiencing problems. But I have an iphone 8 and not sure IF I would ever actually do that.

Now that I have had my fold for a while I realized there's one thing that I'm absolutely loving! Since it is so thick it's like those old big phones or even the landline member how back in the 90s you could do things and just kind of put the phone in between your shoulder and your ear and just laying down on it while you're doing something and continue to talk the full being so thick makes it much easier to do that then you could do with the S21

I've had my Z Fold4 for 2 days now, I love it. Switched from S10+. It is my first Foldable (smart) phone, and is such a unique device. I really like that it is a thicker device while being used as a regular phone.

I got the beige/gold version which looks prominent. All my previous phones had White, Grey or Black back.
the three window function is great for me who likes to draw (biggest window) and have a reference tab or social media app open, and also listen/watch youtube. all at the same time. i usually use my laptop for the other two.

I can use 3 windows for drafting email, open an xl or pdf on the 2nd to view data and type it on emails and on 3rd youtube or voice clip to hear some lecture or podcast.

I use the three break down of the screen. I watch my professor in the floating window. I read the book in another window and I keep the last window open for OneNote to take notes in class.

I'm an art student and I bought this phone. I love drawing on it. I don't do clean line art and have a painterly style. I absolutely adore this phone! Perfect choice if I am looking at a reference while painting or drawing on the phone itself. If you're an artist this is the best phone.
the 2 screen modes is very usable for me when i want to send aa file, so the app i want to use is on the left, and te gallery is on the right, and you can drag the file u want to the app from the gallery or file manager, after that when i can't sleep i usually scroll tiktok and reading the comment there, but because its a big display, i watch the videos on the left and swiping through the comment on the right, i don't now how many peope out there who use the phone like that, but i'm very happy with that features which i can't get on a regular smartphone

I trink the device wobbles a lot by notetaking with the s pen. Is it annoying?

This review was spot on. Answered all my questions and you had the same suggestions I did. Hopefully Samsung listens and the Fold 5 has those changes when I’m eligible for an upgrade.
The Truth is that the galaxy fold is a child's toy and a real no nonsense business man would choose an iPad mini or even a SE because apple is quality over quantity. Samsung doesn't even have stock android and I am sure the people whom use the galaxy fold are using cr@py chrome extensions type apps . If you are going to use android at least use one with strock rom that's unlocked.
A practical reason that I use often for the triple screen display, is when I log accounts in quickbooks for my job on the go. I can have quickbooks open as the main, my notes from word in another, then my excel spreadsheets with workbooks in the third. Also, I use the fourth for my bank account app to check transaction history for my clients and pair transactions to code in quickbooks.

I would like samsung to have a pro version of both folding phones.
The fold especially would be really nice for a premium addition with the extra space to hold a pen, bigger screens pen capability, 120 refresh on both screens and the pro cameras. If it was around 500 more and around 2700 and 1500 for the non pro that would be sweet. If you can afford the premium model you want the best of the best. And otherwise the majority of people would not use those features and would be happy with a cheaper fold without a pen input or larger battery.
The flip as well could go for a lower modle with a tiny cover screen like first gen style and variable refresh rate
Make it 350 bucks less since i believe having no front screen is a huge advantage for durability and 2 years with no case mine didnt break! They are tuff phones. And if you want a nicer model give people the full screen they want it.
Also when will Bluetooth allow us to stream multiple devices?? People wanna share tunes.
All just thoughts but on average i think they are doing a good job and they deserve credit for pushing technology forward
Converted from S22u to fold4, still finding peace with it… thought would be happier with larger screen for vidconfs and docs, turn out i miss the Super Saiyan 2 fast charging a lot. Even with similar superman fast charging, i found fold4 still slower around 30-40%.
Considering repurchase S22u later when price drop hits…..

I'm primarily a desktop PC user, have an S21 ultra but only because you have to have a phone these days and I wanted the best camera for when I'm too lazy to get out my real camera… no laptop, no tablet… if people can't think of a "practical use" for having 2 or 3 apps open simultaneously then they just don't do anything serious on their phones. I can't imagine using a PC and only being able to have one window displayed at a time, it would be so incredibly limiting, and that's how I feel about phones. I have to laugh at how ridiculous that part of your video was, it's like all your twitter followers are both unemployed and have no creative hobbies, like all they do all day is social media or something.
Should I ditch my iPhone 13 pro max for the fold 4 or just grab the iPhone 14 pro max ?
