Can you run a 4080 with a ryzen 9 5900x?
The 40 series look very similar to 30 series gpus
Gtx 1080ti for the win 🙂 almost sold it the other day to get a 3080ti however I couldn’t do it. Happy still
I was about to buy rtx 3080 but now ig ill wait for the 4000 series. I have been using a rtx 2070 since 2018 and it has been 5 years till now and never came a day that i was dissapointed with the performance. But now many games will be coming which will demand more power to run specially gta vi since it got leaked 😹 , so better to amp up my card too.
Being a 4K 144hz gamer, my 3080 suits me well, but there are still some games that while on ultra consistently dip below 60fps and in that I see hope for the 40 series. Won’t get the 4090 becuase of the potentially huge price tag so instead I’m going to aim for the 4080. Yes I know I don’t need it, yes I know I’m perfectly fine with my gpu now but I don’t really care lol
going to wait until the 9000 series come's out…………….
Asking a gamer how much performance does he need… lol… ALL OF IT !!!
Can older motherboard run this card
does it matter what graphic card I put in my pc case
I don’t HAVE to upgrade but the coilwhine on my ASUS TUF 6900 xt is driving me crazy. Will also be the first and last amd Card for me
Cant wait for the 4000 series , i can finally upgrade my 1650 to a 4080 in 7-8 years
If a game is worth a GPU upgrade then I'll save for it. My upgrades followed Elite Dangerous in 2014, ED VR 2020 and MSFS. 3 games, 3 builds. At the moment, there are no games worth another upgrade.
How long till they go into laptops you think ?? And how will the new power hungry cards get the juice they need in a laptop ?
If there's a significant increase in performance for VR I'm in. When I went from 1080 to 3080 that was huge jump but not sure if it will be the same leap from 3080 to 4080.
I don't even game anymore.
In all honesty, I don't need a GPU upgrade right now. I've a 12700KF, 32GB of RAM (3200Mhz), an OC RTX 3080 at 3440×1440.
I can't exactly run all RTX games at their absolute max with RT at its highest quality and still have amazing frame rates but they're still relatively few and far between compared to the rest of my gaming catalogue. If I was stick rocking a 1080Ti, then yes I would definitely consider the 4000 series at this point. As long as you can still play your games comfortably and well, then there's no rush.
Every one of these videos always starts out with (Insert whatever here) "is going to be a game changer"
would prob not pay more than 1400/1500 for 4090.
Can't wait to be the bad guy again and flip these!
I have a 3080TI right now and I game on my LG C1 at 120hz but it still struggles on some games at super max settings at 4K so I am hoping to buy a RTX 4080 or 4080ti so I can reach full potential on my tv at 4K gaming
Do you think ryzen 9 5900x will bottleneck the 4080?
