You use the SSD as a cache for an HDD isn't that the same thing as one of those hybrid drives. I remember people saying those were crap. Also I had a laptop that did the se thing. It had an mSATA SSD as a cash for the HDD.
Hello community… has ANYONE gotten any support from Enmotus "lately"? Not just the new product but previous products? Has anyone here been in phone contact with them? I tried 2x, once I let the Phone company call, "The number is unallocated – fast busy", Then I call 411 for the Enmotus number again, this time I write down and self dial. Same thing – "Male voice recording: "The number is unallocated – fast busy" then disconnects. I have tried ALL their FAQs, gone over all the previous Support emails from the past 2 years, finally got my paid license back online, but the SSD and the HDD don't reconnect. Anyone?
Just got the 900GB version for my game HDD and gonna get a 1.6TB for my work HDD 🙂 They are super cheap now on amazon at 99$ and 199$ !!
Only big issue with this drive is that since it's launch the software STILL does not support using it as a boot drive if you extend to an HDD. which is lame as hell. it's been "coming soon" for half a year.

there's no way to get a mechanical sata 3 hard drive to have a faster access, than what it can transfer internally which is usually around 120mb/s. and the western digital velociraptors that turn at 10,000 rpm, only have a data transfer rate of 145 mb/s!. and they are still considered sata 3 6gb/s, even tho they can't even break sata2 300mb/s transfer rate!. the industry has been pissing on our heads for years now and keep trying to call it rain!.

I'm kinda thinking this is a pretty cool practical storage option. Kinda having a bit of all the worlds and let's be serious little sacrifice when it comes to the nvme r/w. It might or well seems to be a good price point option for having a nvme and a disk drive its much more convenient to have the directory as 1 drive.
