  1. Chris, for sure.

  2. I was going to throw my google nest away because the notifications were garbage. That is until I turned on Visitor announcements. Now it will tell me through all my google speakers that someone is at the door! This is great because I live in an older house and there is some bad wiring for my wired doorbell so I had to go battery. Now it works great!

Question on google. It's 3 hours for free recording but idk what that means. Can you only see the most recent 3 hours? So if something happens at 1am when I'm asleep, does this mean that I can check footage at 7am when I wake up? Also, when I view the past 3 hours of footage, am I able to download the portion iof the needed footage (like 1 min of package delivery, not all 3 hours).

  3. I own Ring 1 and Ring 2, as well as a few Ring Cameras. I may have to get the Nest DoorBell this time.

  4. The only thing I like about the Nest Doorbell is the glowing button

Ordered the Google Nest Doorbell (Battery)–it's on sale (Nov 2022) at the Google store online or Amazon. Haven't received it yet. Kind of bummed that it seems so easy to just rip off the mount–yikes.

  5. Save your money. Customer support for the Google doorbell is a nightmare. Get the ring instead

  6. The speaker on the Nest doorbell is TERRIBLE, I'm returning mine today to try out the Ring video doorbell 4.

  7. I just sow this video and this guys is so funny even he looks a little weird, just want to let you know I close my right eye when he asked after he said “you look bad “ I felt so stupid! Ha ha ha because I did it! 😊 thanks!

  8. That's not how I'd be installing my nest doorbell anyway

  9. no one mentions there is a key to lock the Nest Doorbell to the bracket screwed to the wall.

  10. I like my ring 4 but it's just a shame the camera quality is junk when zooming for the cost you'd think it would have a much better camera

Definitely missed the biggest difference between the 2 that’s the 24/7 recording with nest any event longer than two minutes will be missed by the ring because it only records clips up to two minutes

  11. Ring has a waaaaaaaaaay wider view than the nest but for some reason I still went with nest…

  12. U need a hair cut 💇!

  13. which one drains (phone app) more battery on your mobile phone.

The $6 a month for Nest includes all of your other cameras. This isnt true for ring. Ring actually get more expensive than nest when you add one camera. Also rings geofencing doesnt really do anything than set a reminder for you to change modes MANUALLY. Im a ring house about to go all google.

  14. I like this video, it highlights the security issues of the camera performance quality and how weak the physical security of the camera is, like ripping the camera off the door. Great video.

Every single notification on my iPhone is slower than my s22 ultra e.g Gmail, youtube, text message card uses.

Why wasn't the Arlo wireless doorbell included?

  15. The google nest doorbell has been garbage for me so far. It makes me want to throw it away. Going to look into ring

  16. why cant you use the ring adhesive on nest?

  17. How many people closed their eye 👁🥲🤡🤡🤡

  18. Ring requires a subscription for most of the best features

  19. Nest is a nightmare to try and hook up with a mini speaker doorbell.

  20. Ring is the clear winner just on the theft test alone. All those Nest features mean nothing if someone can literally walk off with it in 2 seconds.

  21. NEST left us abandoned with the old model in a app loophole between them and google when they were aquired by the tech giant…. of course forgetting about users that had the doorbell… . NEVER EVER BUY NEST… dont fall on the trap

  22. why would u even buy nest when so easy 2 steal.. even if have a video.. good luck finding thief.. so easily.. actually insanely easy 2 steal.. should not b recommend at all… take ur $200 & burn it.. bad review

  23. This is a good review. 👍

  24. I looked foolish? 😳😳😳😔😔😔

I don't know why anyone would want to buy the nest after watching this. It is so easy to steal wth?

  25. Which one works with HomeKit?

  26. Anyone that has researched the simple removal process also knows the uselessness of stealing it as it will not work with anyone else's system..The average thug that attempts to steal it won't know the simple removal process and if you don't know it you will destroy it if you try to remove it…Plus Google will replace any stolen units…The easy theft is a non issue..How do they know you don't have other cameras?? They don't. Just the doorbell alone is enough to discourage a lot of thieves by itself.
Anyone that has researched the simple removal process already knows its worthless if they do it.

  27. I wanna see the same video but comparing Nest Wired and Nest Wireless.

  28. Hi, if I have an amazon eco does google nest works like the ring doorbell that when it rings you can hear it in the eco show that some are in the door?

  29. No mini level or drill bit in our kit!

  30. I had ring but it never really worked at all. It would film after a person leaves and is close to their car.

  31. I would rather Google have a fix some sort of anti theft bracket you could buy for it rather than have to go through all the hassle 9f taking up police time to report a stolen doorbell

  32. Today I learned that I look foolish

  33. Can the nest be wired?
I live in a state where its cold af and i know the frigid cold will deplete the battery faster
