A really good hack if you want a lot of bacon quickly, is to fill your kitchen with as much bacon as you can (feel free to put the bacon anywhere in the kitchen) then light a match and toss it I your kitchen garbage can, and wait. In no time your burning kitchen will cook that bacon. Please note you may need to get the fire department to get your bacon out.

I've never had a problem with removing egg shells. your way is more cumbersome.

Hack that I use every time I get a container of butter (for example, a container/tub of Country Crock butter). Open it, take a butter knife, and stir it instead of letting it sit and warm up. That's it, aerate the butter and it'll spread so much easier.
