  1. Since when does cinemotion have to do anything with high bitrate and low bitrate content tf

  2. I got a A80K for $700 bucks off for $1300 bucks, sold my current tv to my mom for $200 so it was really $1100 in my case.

  3. I worry with all the smart TVs that we're going to lose universal remotes. Logitech already stopped making Harmony remotes, but I still use one for my dumb TV (which is still 1080p), Blu-ray player, and A/V receiver. I just wish it could control my Roku stick as well. With a smart TV, I fear it won't work at all.

I still want one remote to use for everything, and universal remotes that work over WiFi are so much the better. We need manufacturers to care about this. And, oh by the way, having numbers on the remote is good for us antenna users who actually want to change channels without going through every channel. At least this one does!

Am I showing my middle age yet?

  4. It’s no different than people paying around $2,000 for a S95B 65 inch with no heatsink breaking all the time.

Went with A80J, the 90 was out of budget for sure.

  5. I just got this TV (83" version) and its being installed 7-20-22, I cannot wait to see how it preforms, the VRR update has been introduced since the drop of this video.

  6. This TV is horrible with motion in films, it stutters like crazy! I saw the Stop The Fomo video on this TV!

  7. If only I was rich.

  8. What was that monk karate show about a 3rd of the way through?!

  9. People who bough this TV must be feeling pretty stupid now that the Samsung QD OLED is out which is better in everyway and costs 800$ less

  10. LG's software is also crap compared to Google TV/Android and LG's "magic remote" is disgusting

  11. @Linus Tech Tips so I bought an 83 inch a90j on sale a few weeks ago, imagine how surprised I was that an 8k MSRP TV is sporting a 10/100 Ethernet port I actually thought it was a bad cable run since I recently moved house and spent some time redoing it until I discovered it actually does not ship with a gigabit port WTF! You guys should do a video going over this across modern tvs. Why should I buy a usb3 dongle to get gigabit on my expensive new TV 🙁

  12. Anyone I have LG C9 should I buy the sony A90J and sell LG C9 is A90J way better then the LG C9?

  13. I really want A90J and wondering when it will stop being sold at Best Buy? I cant afford it just yet. Will the price drop any further? Thank you!

  14. The input lag on dolby vision is no bueno

  15. It’s $3000 right now. Still expensive for a 65 inch tv. Then again back in 2015 I paid $3000 for a 55 inch LG OLED lol. I also just paid $2900 for a 77 inch a80j so looking back on it that 55 inch was hella expensive lol

  16. A90K just made the J completely obsolete

  17. 3800$ lmao its only 2300$ right now haha but agreed the shits expensive if this screen was 1500$ id buy it i never buy new tvs when they come out i bet when sony releases the xr series this thing will drop a few hundred dollars but agreed at 3800$ thats wayyy overpriced

  18. I can definitely say this TV paired with HTA7000 is godly.

  19. Happy asf I wouldn't trade my a90j

  20. I got a 55inch sony a80j and I absolutely love it!!
    I refused to pay 800 more for a 10% difference ..
And that's how these stores get you !!
when you see the best side by side to other only then can you spot the difference.. in your home it's gonna look amazing !!

  21. Too much money for something that's most likely to burn in and be useless in a year or two.

  22. It’s not overpaying. It’s just buying the right thing.

  23. I own the A80J.

  24. stop that fukki bas heavy music thats overpumped with loudness, cant you hear it

  25. I can afford this tv and I have wanted it for months so should I buy it?

  26. Anyone that buys a korean tv over this is a fool, gaming or not

  27. DON'T COMPARE A MUCH BETTER SONY TO CRAPPY LG AND SAMJUNK

  28. Wait did you just say they use a crappy LG panel??? HARD PASS

  29. Imagine being happy
    get large paycheck

  30. All that Sony needs to do now is offer smaller screens for their oleds (like lg's c1 for example)

  31. According to Sony's website spec for the unit it now has VRR support

  32. PS5 isn't VRR

This channel is obviously sponsored by LG. Let’s get real.

  33. Both X90J and A80J are good alternatives (x90 with FLED and a80 oled without the cooling-plate at the back and thus slightly lower max-brightnes) And both are below 2k 🙂 (75" x90J was about 1400€ and 65" a80j was at 1500€ at black friday 🙂 ).

Yeah, I saw this video just now (as I checked a90j, a80j and x90j/x95j ) and now this is really great regarding price and stuff 🙂

  34. Literally 10 of them? Lies…

  35. I think that instead of people saying that Sony has better picture quality than the LG, they should actually sit down to consider how the televisions differ and how they excel. The LG has bad pre-calibration, while the Sony does not. It's a matter of personal taste and honesty, but most people go by hearsay and what they think a good image is. If you understand that the LG does not have image processing on by default like the Sony, you will understand. The employees at Best Buy, where everyone seems to see them side by side, are oftentimes hoodwinking you into preferring the Sony, so they may end up worsening the LG picture, because it means that they will make less money if you buy the LG. The LG is a 2500-3000 dollar television made to be 1500 bucks because it does not come with good calibration. The G1 does, and I think that the G1 is a horrible waste of money. The LG does excel with default sharpness, color, contrast, detail, clarity, and motion. Others seem to think that the LG does worse in motion, but it's only because they do not add motion blur like the Sony. The Sony does happen to excel in SDR highlights, overall brightness, and focal points, but it does end up blurring the rest of the screen. It's just another way of taking image quality away while acting like they gave you something new and expensive. If someone say that the Sony looks better, I think that it's a matter of all the 15 incessant Sony fanboys online getting to you in the way that you look at things. You also have to consider online YouTubers using affiliate links, gaining commission, and how marketing gimmicks can make televisions win their yearly awards. The C1 has been the top pick on nearly every website, and the Sony televisions typically do not even make it in the top 5 or 10 (except where they include a Samsung tv). It's not a popularity contest, but LG did pull ahead this year, while Sony BSed most of you into thinking that their product was the shit again. It's a great tv, but a lot of bullshit was swallowed along the way, and you showed that their half-handed effort worked. I should also mention that the LG is selling out 4 times more than the Sony televisions, and this is just the C1 and G1. Quit being lazy and learn how to calibrate the tv, but like I said, maybe it's just a matter of opinion. 😉 I'm not saying much, but I said what I said, and it should not be such a hard pill to swallow for most folks.

  36. My son broke my TV Sony H950 55 Inch bye-bye to $1600. To think someone will pay 3K on a TV is crazy. I wish I can repair mine but TVs screen repair does not exist in 2021 they want you to buy new. I challenge LTT to repair a smart tv screen

  37. did this firmware update ever come?

  38. woah woah woah, where the heck are those TCL TVs $333.99?

  39. "Will I buy one? Nooooo"
