I have the smaller version of the Gerber Gator and I love it, out of every machete I ever owned the gator has never let me down and been the best I have used and I used a lot of them heck it works better then the actual swords I owned

Beware of cute duel purpose bladed tools. Exspecially molded handles riveted to form "durable handle" a few heavy blows things get broke or loosen.
