Comments

  1. Ring and Nest aren't worried anymore now that Eufy has illegally uploaded pictures up in the cloud unencrypted. Anker is screwed.

  2. For the night vision, the IR light was bouncing off the brick wall to the left. The picture was adjusted to the brightness of that light. The picture will be much better if it was mounted better.

which is the fastest doorbell when I check my notifications?

  3. Grteat review! Suggest next time to test with a motion activated outdoor light to test its performance as it could be a very easy fix for what seems to be a doorbell camera with great potential.

  4. Spent two hours trying to get my eufy doorbell camera to work finally put the piece of shi- back in the box am sending it back.

  5. For the people who already have this is the notification time a 10sec or more delay? Does it lag sometimes longer

  6. So is this a review for wired or battery operated camera? There is no mention of it anywhere in video or description. Consumer reports has a drastically different rating for wired and battery operated doorbells. Had to thumb down this video for the lack of clarity.

  7. Have you tested the "Delivery Guard" feature? It is supposed to 1. let you know when a package is placed under it. 2. play a pre-recorded message when intruder approach your package (this could scare away the porch pirate). 3. frequently remind you to pick up the package.

  8. Can this doorbell be hard wired?

  9. This costs $449 AUD here in Australia, PLUS you can’t buy it as an ADD-ON using our current Eufy homebase unit and must buy the complete set – sucks!

While I don’t need-need it, I thought it might work well, as our front door is at the top of 10 stairs, and even though I have a EUFY cam pointing towards the front door and alerting me of arrivals, I like the idea of seeing people’s faces, instead of the top of their heads.

Or do I just forget this and buy another EUFY 2C cam?

    Any suggestions?

  10. Couldn’t you add a smart flood light with IR bulbs to flood the area at night when the EUFY camera is activated.

  11. I have this cam and it rather sucks. The notification delay is real no matter the setting or wifi speed. Also it detects people really late. When people are moving at a normal walking pace they just show up mid frame all the sudden even though I have sensitivity and radar on max. The motion detection software or sensors must be really weak and subpar at this price.
If someone wants to steal a package, this won’t help except to confirm to you that a person did it.
It’ll record the person mid frame and alert you well after they left.

  12. Have you got good Internet speed because that would make a difference

  13. Great job with testing all the boxes and I especially liked your comments about latency with notifications and whether the app takes you to the live feed or the recording. Something I haven’t considered yet!

A bit of feedback: Can you retry the night time test by adjusting the camera so the wall isn’t in the way? I noticed a few other comments too about the IR reflecting back into the camera and the device struggling with the contrast.

Also, I noticed at least three different placements of the doorbell in this video. Seems like the night time test was done in a different location than the day time and pull tests.

  14. Nothing better than my ring Pro2 😁 Just word of advice make sure that your router is next to the window next to the door so you don’t have any missed notifications

  15. Can you test if see those blister pack envelopes are recognized by the lower cam? It seems Amazon delivers quite a few deliveries this way.

  16. 260 bucks?!?
I got my ring wired video doorbell for 35 bucks
I never have to charge it and has the essential features you need in a doorbell camera with a good app to go with it
    Girl, bye

  17. Kudos on the pull test. A very real concern for the investment. Wish all reviewers did something like this as well

  18. Except wired doorbells are way better, which is why i got the Arlo instead of the eufy

  19. Eufy is the best. No subscription bs anymore.

  20. Waist of money

  21. ► Pricey for $260. Will wait until I can get it for $100

Do you think the wired version doesn't have the latency problem as the battery version?

  22. Very nice video

  23. It's worth noting that anyone concerned about security would undoubtedly also have exterior lighting on motion sensors or timers. So it's unlikely that anyone standing in front of the camera would ever be in darkness.

  24. IT'S A DOORBELL CAM IT'S NOT ONE OF THE CAMERAS THAT GO ON THE SIDES OF YOUR HOME

  25. Has a test been ran to see if wired method eliminates the notification delay?

  26. Unacceptable. My video doorbell needs to stream in 4K, provide a quad camera array and alert me that packages have arrived before they have been delivered.

  27. Cant someone just steal it? Lol

  28. Unifi Pro Doorbell also has 2 cameras and in my opinion better feutures

  29. i like the way he said video door bells are blowing up if they do that i will be giving them a hard pass lol

  30. The camera was too close to the wall. You could see the infrared lights hitting it on the left side there. Move it over a little and it will be fine.

Make a video for the Unifi Doorbest.
I think it’s the best and even better then ring

  31. Might have to get this ❤️

  32. In this day and age eufy needs to make the exact same doorbell but for people's for apartments…. Stop making things just for rich house owners

  33. 4:3 aspect ratio is stupid. 😂😂😂

    NO BUY.

  34. The wall to the side reflects too much IR light destroying the nightvision AE… I have the basic version and noticed that too, use the angled mount and you will see night vision will be a lot better

  35. Good

  36. Cool Camera Shout out to you and your channel. Plus all your subscribers. CHEERS FROM OVER SEAS UNITED STATES ♐

  37. Currently, I use a Google nest doorbell.. I don't have a problem with a 10-second delay as sometimes it takes my Google as much as 10 minutes to send me a notification.. In fact, half the time, I don't get a notification when packages are left with Google.

Secondly, saving $6 a month in monthly subscription fees makes this very appealing. As for the night vision, I have zero concerns there, as my porch and front yard are very well illuminated by a porch light as well as landscape lighting.

  38. 5G bring it more faster

  39. That night vision was terrible, because of the poor placement reflecting too much infrared light to throw off the contrast balance. Maybe a follow up video without it angled to capture so much brick wall off to the left of the image, is in order?

  40. Wow what Junk. My 5 year old Nest Cam runs circles around this. This is probably some $20 dollar Chinese rebranded doorbell. Anyone who buys this is a fool.

  41. One day they'll have an ultrwide telephoto and macro lense like phones

  42. Ok but, where's the fun where you can't ring the bell and run away
