How is this a household hack?!
i make greenscreen videos by my self and i use completly free softwaire—check my channle and you'll se how perfect greenscreen videos you can produce with the absolutly free programm VSDC Video Editor
i went to my local hardware store that mixes paint; showed them a piece of card with the correct colour and they made me up a batch so I have a whole room which is green.
if you use special paint it works but the paint is also pretty expensive it has to be very reflective

so go with thier 15 dollar version…
well, it will be really wrinkly, and wont work so well, plus you need the powerful lights

You can get one the same size on amazon for $28 but it does not come with a hanger but you can use thumb tacks or duct tape if you have no money.
You obviously have never bought paint if you think its cheaper than cheap cloth.
I would like to know how I would hook up my camera to make it so whatever I am recording will appear on the chroma key backdrop.

@superkm101 ima kid to wat i did was ask everyone for a green screen for my birthday next you download free software for backgrounds for lighting i took a light thet my dead bearded dragon used (if you dont have a pet that needs a light like that just use a cheep light) then i used some tin foil to reflect the lite then i was done
OR you can get a giant poster paper and green screen a white background.

try putting more distance between the subject and the greenscreen. The further the better really.

I think Using a clothes as the screen is more flexible. Because, we can change the color if we need for it. I.e, if the object or actor must use some kind with color of green. If we get wallpaper or paint the wall, we must avoid the color used in the screen, exist on the object or actor. And the advantage of using clothes, it's can be changed or moved to another area, or we can give some light source behind the scree to avoid shadow on it.
