  1. i have 650GB worth of storage

How do yall even store that much storage while still knowing where everything is

  2. If I would’ve had patience and waited to get more space rather than constantly deleting files, I too would also be a data hoarder with bedrooms full of storage. Though honestly it would get to a point where I would consolidate everything. Back in the day an external 250gb drive was a big deal. I literally still have 512mb thumb drives lying around.

  3. "old vintage games that nobody probably ever played before" 😭 as old gamers are dead RIP. We outlived the boomers 🤣🤣

  4. I HAVE 2 TB CONTAINING EVERY SINGLE XBOX GAME
AND I HAVE 2 TB OF DATA INCLUDING GAMES
    THATS PRETTY MUCH IT

  5. Is that single channel memory around 6:30

  6. Wow that's horrible backup solutions for personal data I always do 321 with a modified version of 2.

  7. Ah 4800000 tb azure disk that will bypass everything

  8. Doesn't linus have over 3 petabytes or somthing

  9. 700,000 CDs would form a 10.13 meter cube, 2.16 meters on each side. (And that's assuming that they've been crushed into fine glass, with no space between them!) Hey, an advanced alien species might be able to put them back together.

  10. 15:00 unless the cloud service in question goes bust… amazon photos…

  11. 15:53
    "That's nice!"
    "That's bad!"
**glances at Jake waiting for the reaction

  12. JESUS… Stop talking about Dan this and Dan that!

    Just kidding. Dan is awesome.

  13. I prefer losing my data, no reason to live in the past.

  14. Storage Spaces is really good these days if you do not have a dedicated NAS

  15. I have an 8 bay NAS with 14s in it lol (98TB useable). Already 38TB used

  16. It is 3-2-C (cloud)

  17. How do you even organize more than 10 tb data. Data means nothing if you cannot get a fast overview of what you have and to get it if you want it.
any great programs to organize data. If I haven't used data for 5 years I might never use it but it can also mean I forgot I had it at all.

  18. this is a best case senario. having offsite solid sate storage would still sufice. if you power on your "backup drive" (not even check the data) at least once every 5 years you should be fine and guess what you should be updateing those backups alot more then once every 5 years. most solid state drives do not degrade for at least 5-7 years some as far as 10 years. so as long as you intialize the drive at least one before that happens it would effectively reset the clock. im not saying cloud is =nt a viable option (it certintly is) but its not the ONLY option. and actually in a perfect backup world you should have a long term backup offsite and OFFLINE to prevent from hackers and other anomolys getting to it. its recomended that that drive be stored someware safe underlock and key and not in your home or work. the most comon recomendation is a safe deposit box at a bank.

  19. Dan reminds me a lot of Matt Walsh

  20. ALL THAT SHOOTING ON THE TAPES OF WEDDING VIDEO'S WILL SEND YOU BLIND LOL also if it's only ever shot up once he must have been recording out of focus ;-p

  21. DID HE SAY This is where the Magic Happens then Panned past a Magnifying glass to find the Magic !

  22. DAVE LOVING THE WHITE SALTY SWEATY STAINS ON THE T SHIRT YOUR SUCH A HARD WORKER SWEATING IT OUT

  23. How long do you have to work at LTT before you Penny drops and come to the realization not to be a APPLE MAC Victim of Limited ability and Expansion lol
