I like the Microsoft Pro, but how they can justify $448 to replace a $10 battery by a premium week turn around service then get "lost" (stolen) for two months and then give a three month extended warranty as compensation. The hardest part to swallow is I rarely used it unplugged.

These Surface devices are terrible. Just get a normal laptop or a iPad.
would have been nice if that stylus have mouse function capability. Sometimes I just hate using the mouse pad on these when i forget to carry a mice.

Surface Pro 9 is here and the Surface Pro 8 still doesn't have the promised adaptive refresh rate. I refuse to give Microsoft my money when they can't even deliver on their small promises. Unless you absolutely need Windows in a 2-1 form factor you should stay far away from Surface Pro.
