Particularly like the call quality comparison in noisy environments, this is often completely overlooked or only touched on as a side note briefly in other reviews. Just received my new AP3’s and I’m really impressed with them after upgrading from the 1st gen.👍🏻

I love the air pods 3 I had the 2's but they broke and tbh I love the 3's more
"What if you're on the train, in a bus or on a plane"- this is the only argument presented in EVERY YouTube video when they mention no noise cancelling. It's as if reviewers think everyone is always on some business trip flying all around the country 24/7 or commuting in NYC and will absolutely need noise cancelling. In reality 90% of everyone buying these are going to use them around their house and for school/work and that's it. Most people use Airpod Pro's in transparency mode anyways because they want to hear ambient noise so it's really not that big of a deal not having it.

I have a pair of Sony M3’s and also Sennheiser PXC 550 headphones but have to sat that the AirPods 3rd gen are the best fit and the easiest to connect across multiple devices. The fit is much better than the Sony’s

as someone coming from the pros I think the 3s are better in sound and base what really helps the pros is the ANC other than that they not really good in my opinion plus I never really care for ANC and the ear tips never stayed in my ears so I’m happy I made the switch

What headphones are best for someone that has a cork screw space eardrum just was asking, I like the Apple buds to model but not sure how they would work on the phones for Apple. Or how they would work for charging. I like the threes they were the other part three but they are too costly just curious how they charge. Thank you
I have the Pro and tried removing the rubber tips and still sounds good. Is it the same with this just a pro without tips?

This is my first video of CNET. Very well done! I just bought my new AirPods 3 and waiting for them to arrive today. It’s good to watch a review from someone around my age instead of a 20 something that is bouncing off the walls or sound like they’re hocked up on caffeine. Can’t wait to watch more of your videos.

I'm the opposite of David here. I cannot stand the feeling of IEM's and love the natural transparency of v1 and v2 Airpods. I returned my Pros when I couldn't achieve silicone seal. I didn't want to deal with Comply or similar foam with a two finger pinch and expansion process. I plan to get the 3's. The failure of this and other reviews is that no specific differentiation is made between "buds" and IEM's., though he does cover it at 7:40 calling it noise occlusion with regards to v3 vs. Pros and then people "not liking tips jammed into their ears": great job bringing that up. There are very different form factors here. The other devices mentioned are all IEM's, requiring a proper seal that some people don't like as mentioned. I'm that guy.
The thing I hate about in ear headphones, is the fact thay not everyone has the same ears. So its tough to actually find headphones that fit. I have tried all the airpods excluding tha max's cause whos paying for those, and the only ones I can wear comfortably is the 1st and 2nd gens. Airpod pros just hurt after about 30 mins, one smile and the pain just kicks up even more. But… the pros beat the 2nd and 3rd gens in basically every way, sadly they arent for me though.

Dude, you slurred your words a lot when you were saying numbers. It was hard to hear.
I have the Airpods Pro, use them every day, but ultimately they’re a flawed product. I’ve tried all three eartip sizes and can’t get a perfect seal. With my left ear, especially, the bud sometimes falls out. Still the sound and noise canceling are very good. I’m tempted to try the AirPods 3, but I think I’ll wait for the next version of the Pro to come out.
3rd Gen doesn’t fit my smallish ear canal – they fall right out. Returning them.
Funny thing, is Hey Siri on my AirPods and iPhone never activates with someone else’s voice.
