For $650, the 6900xt is incredible value when paired with a 5900x or 5950x
Ok look I know you don’t know you are doing but 650 watt power supply with a 6900xt is 1 of the dumbest things I have ever seen. I know you said to get a bigger power supply! But doing this just to make a video is mental. But since you get the likes and subs, also everyone wants to touch your touch hole 🕳 and fondle your brown eye makes it ok, and you can never do anything wrong I guess 😂 lol… But seriously 😒 I really like your videos , you are amazing dude, I know this video is over a year old, and you have a lot more videos out but keep up the good work!! Gonna build my first amd pc with xfx merc 319 6900xt with a 5900x! Super excited
i've got same case, but went with black theme, followed with 3 140 light wings at front, x73 kraken on top and rtx 3080 . cpu stays in mid-high 50s while gpu never go over 68. But im curious, im watching ur videos regulary and i've been wondering why is that ur cpu/gpu temps are allways like massive ? 70-80 most of the time ? And note that i live in enviroment where summers are 35-40c ..

Just get a black marker and run it through the red groove on the card. Voilà, black card. And if you want the red at a later time a bit of alcohol or nail polish remover should clean the marker right up.
My 650W PSU shuld be enough with 5800X and 6900XT mainly at 1080p and from time to time on 4K… I guess 😀

I read an 850 watt psu was a minimum with the 6900xt as it spikes high on the power at times.

I was going to upgrade my ryzen 5 3600 to the 5600x, but after seeing the i5 12th gen i think I might hold off. I also have a 6900xt, and loving it so far. I just think my cpu might be a slight bottle neck.

Big thanks, my 5950x and 6900 xt arrived today (finally!!) so I rewatched this for tips and inspiration before I started my build. After some BIOS flashback fun and games it finally posted and I'm now installing Windows. Cheers mate
