Hedgewars is open-source.You can create literally any weapon any way you want.Also lots of players doesn't mean a better game,it simply mean that Hedgewars doesn't have as much publicity

@DocKillRoy I think that they're both good in different ways. I have Worms AND Hedgewars but I still prefer to play Hedgewars half the time.

Since version 0.9.15 Worms isnt better anymore, you can draw and share own maps in menue, there are multiplayer missions much more gameschemes and so on… try try try!!!

I have loved this game for years since i got linux in '09
worms is allot more fun…..granted hedgewars has better graphics i think……but i can't aim!!!!! the CPU always hits me spot on, but i hit like 5 meters away and i get angry!!! and god is it a ripoff!!! i mean this is worms with hedgehogs…… it's the same game only with no aim!!!! and the weapons……the same only instead of a banana you got a watermelon…….RIP OFF!!!!
@FadingxXxNinja Sounds like the Splash screen image failed. Best bet is uninstall and re-install. This works without an hitch in linux.
