After more than two weeks with the clever clamshell, I believe Samsung has addressed most of the major issues I had with the Z Flip 3. But I’d like to see the Z Flip 4’s cover display get more functionality and for the battery life and cameras to improve even more.

I am considering getting this phone. My s20 had a little screen burn. Is the Z Flip screen susceptible to screen burn as well?
This is really about the flip 3 but i think new buyers need a warning. I got my flip less than a year ago and loved it. Showed everyone. Then about a week ago the screen would not come on after closing the phone. Samsung had me take it to a local shop for repair. The shop said it was under warranty and they would fix it for free. turns out they couldn't said they thought it was the board and samsung should replace it. Samsung tells me i now have to send it to them so their techs can look at it. They say it is something with the hinge and the warranty won't cover it and I have to pay $377 to fix it. I did nothing to this phone only thing wrong was some scratches on the outside because case kept slipping. If you look it up everything that goes wrong with this phone is the hinge and samsung won't fix. FYI the person at the shop said she would avoid these phones. This was my fourth samsung phone and my last!
Great Review. If you're going to keep doing videos, you may want to consider some sessions with a speech language pathologist. They can teach you how to position your tongue so that you lose your lisp and tweety bird moments, such as on the word "check". Seems someone in front of you might get wet. Just a suggestion.
Should I trade in my s21 that I've only had for about a year for this one? I've always wanted this phone but the flip3 battery was so bad it made me get the s21….is the battery better on the 4? I'm really thinking of trading in but idk! >~<
The more you use the Flip 4, the more useful it becomes. The battery life is significantly longer than the Flip 3, battery charging, improved cameras and faster processor than the Flip 3 makes it worth it. Having had it for a month it is unlikely I’ll go back to a brick phone. Samsung is truly innovative with their product line.
Thank you for this review. I decided to get the flip 4 and ordered it today. I was a bit worried about it breaking with the flip but seeing how you flipped it seamlessly. I don’t think I have to worry. Im very excited to be back to Samsung.
the flip 4 is good but it's not better than what it should be in a next gen. very minimal change from flip 3. this is what happens when you have no big competition. they're taking time to make big improvements with each gen.
current user of S10. Would love to upgrade to a smaller form factor flip. However, not overly sold on the battery life. Maybe there is an improvement for flip 5?
Had it for nearly a month. Looks nice but a few major issues which made me to return it. Battery and charging is an issue, front display is rubish, doesnt display notifications! Genrally notifications are not well designed. Generallly the phone is too narrow. Cannot add extra memory. Mine broke after two weeks and Samsug Customer Service is something impossible to imagine in XXI century. 3 stars from me I am afraid. At strech.

Why no dust resistance? That should be mandatory in a pocket phone. Have you checked cases to see if they have dust protection?
I feel like the track pad function is more practical if the phone itself were bigger

It folds in half. No amount of tech will make that crease disappear. People are just bizarre today.

Having already got the Flip 3 since last October and still more than happy with it I was only looking at the Flip 4 regarding the slightly bigger battery etc.Tbh I think I will give it a miss now after seeing your video and wait until probably next year until the Flip 5 comes out? I'm just hoping my screen protector on my Flip 3 lasts until then though? lol.

I'm gonna get the Samsung galaxy z flip4 reason why is I love the way you can bend the phone I won't have to worry about cracking the screen when I work plus when you receive a text or call you will get it directly to the small screen on the back of the phone when folded daily use to it for me is for when family calls or text or I need to look up things I wanna buy on the web plus I jus wanna have that feeling of knowing if my phone is in my pocket when I sit down I don't have to worry about hearing that one sound we all don't wanna hear when we forget about our phones being in our pocket it's expensive for the little thing but it should do me well and should last me along time
Zip flip 3 it's the best
No phone lasts the whole day if you're constantly talking and using it. At least not for me.

Currently an iPhone 11 user. Have an upgrade available and I’ve been looking into the flip for awhile. Been wanting to switch over to Samsung for a long time too. Is there anything I should worry about for the switch? Anything worse or much better ?
I have an old IPhone 7 and want to get a flip 4 just because I think the flip is so cool…… would it be a difficult or disappointing transition?
I got mine! Battery is huge improvement or i got phone with strange battery 🤣! Easy 14 hours! 7-8 hours on screen! No game No Netflix watch! Some You Tube videos, all day music browsing internet! Google Map big time, voice chat half a day! That's about 14 hours and 15% left!!
Give it a projector. I still wont buy it, but thatd be pretty cool.

I kind of wish the cover screen was on the opposite side, so that you could use it as a camera viewfinder, while folded. Maybe more people these days are into taking selfies though. 🙂

unfortunately, no DEX on flip 4, a $1000 phone with tons of power with no DEX !!! i don't know any meaningful reason why Samsung don't consider flip-4 as a productive phone ?? for me, Flip has to wait (hopefully) to the next gen.
Most of these devices are hacker enabled and allow bugs into your. phone with ease, look up lets help you take out those bugs, clone anything as well hack anything for you. even if your credit is poor we will fix it
the fold gap worries me, if u press on the fold gap, it gon snap right ??
the most important thing is. how long can the screen last?
What about a protection case that folds with it? 🤔
