Both apple watch are awesome,but my opinion , The greatest was designed to look simply apple watch series 8 better than ultra . I require to buy my first time apple watch . anybody else can recommend and suggest before when buy ? This is my important choice in my life. I have been wearing my apple watch Ultra for almost a week now, and I love it. I traded in my Series 7. I love the larger screen size and all the new features. However, there are two things to consider: the watch is bulkier/thicker for wearing 24/7 around the house, so it accidentally gets bumped into doorways, hallways etc WAY more than my previous Series 7. I love the large size of the Ultra but wish it was flatter, so it wouldn't stick out as much. It is also heavier than the regular AW because of the larger battery, although when you wear it, it does not feel heavy and you quickly get used to it.

Graphite stainless steel 8 45mm is the same price as the Ti ultra 8 49mm! so they are the same price… Ultra is not more expensive. When you do more research than the journalist, Sigh.

I imagine the new battery saver mode is just going to turn off the screen always on mode to make the power use go back to what it was before.

I don't scuba dive, climb mountains or do ultra marathons. Still considering the Ultra though… Battery life is much better and I don't want to worry about scratching it, and if you want the watch 8 with cellular the price isn't much different.
The Ultra is even more ugly and clunky than the other versions. The features are good, but in a hideous case.
