How's the low light?
Have you figured out how to save the resolution so it works in 4K for Skype and Zoom?
Hmm… There's some lag in imaging for the link. It seems like it is recording ata slower fps.
meh, Elgato looks better, it has a better aperture and the tracking feature is (while cool) just a gimmick for most of us.
I think tracking will be cool for a security camera.
can you tell more about background noise cancellation (built in mic)?

1/ is the summary filmed with the Insta360?
2/ how does this compare to the new Facecam PRO? (If you haven't already, it would be great to see a side-by-side comparison of picture quality).
3/ do you know if this comes with augmentation software that can handle adjusting the "perceived" angle of face to camera so that you can still appear to be "face on" to the camera while looking slightly below it at what's on-screen. This would be great for both online meetings and also people doing reviews of online content.

Why would you not compare it with the facecam pro which is also 4k
oh yeah I forgot to ask can it cut out the background so you can maybe put your body against a fire backdrop somehow?
My $350 phone with a Camo Studio app can achieve comparable quality to the Insta360 Link.
The only downside – you can't use the phone when it acts as a webcam.

I've looked up a bunch of reviews for this. And, I've heard mainly bad things If you're a streamer, you're not going to need a cam that follows you around. And, why would you want it to? If you have a setup with a decent cam, you wouldn't need it to follow you. That's really the only "good" thing about this. It does create a good image, but for the price, you can find better.
It just feels like a gimmick that most people would have no use for.
The #1 thing frustrating me with every webcam is how much is warps your face and makes you look uglier than you are. This webcam actually will make me look prettier for once. lol Thanks for this! Update 11/10/2022 I just got this and it's amazing. Best webcam out.

just got one. The features are insane. I stream spoken word performance so being able to set up shots and move sold me. The autofoillow is more intense than I hoped. Trying to find a way to control it remotely. Great vid.And they need to unhorse that mic.

Comparing it to a Webcam almost half the price isn't exactly apples to apples. The FOV is a huge plus for the Elgato. I agree the insta looks great but you were actually smoother at 1080p/60. You can see the motion lag multiple times. When you tested Nvidia, you probably would have reduced that lag a lot going down to 1080p. I dont have a good webcam yet, good video. How is the insta in low light?
There are a couple of reviews on Amazon regarding the software that are concerning. One involves the user agreement and the other indicates that the software repeatedly sends data back to a Chinese domain.
The HDR being a bit flat is probably because you're turning HDR content on while Windows HDR is off. You will see that in games that support HDR, the color will turn very dull, flat, and sometimes opaqued with some tint, because the monitor doesn't support HDR or Windows HDR settings is disabled.
How about settings when using in OBS. You know how with the C920 you have to refix the settings every time you load up OBS (or use software to auto load it) does this one store the settings and keep them even when using in OBS?
I had been holding off to get something like a Sony A6100 but I may just get this. I don't do much and $300 is much better than $600 and up and it looks incredible. Especially compared to my C920. I can use the C920 for some alt angles.
This just needs Stream Deck compat to be able to like switch presets with the Stream Deck, etc.
"no volume control needs to be worked on", what if someone with an XLR mic set up or a lavalier mic set up wants to use this cam? There is no way to control or turn off the mic. This cam is not even USB 2.1 "Via USB-C to USB-C cable (USB 2.0)" I would have expected at least 3.0 even if the entire cam was a bit bigger.
And yes, the video quality is very good props given, the gimble is a great addition to A webcam, props given. The features available to aim and control the cam, props given. But see above…

looks good and all that but this is useless for corporate employees. any device that needs software to use is never going to happen. would be good to understadn how this works without the software and just the standard windows drivers as that is all i could use with it
This is not really a streamer's webcam, this is a business webcam.
An amazing use case that one of my engineer friends showed me with this webcam is in remote product demos. They bought one to test it out as an alternative to bulky multi-cam setups when they work off-site and it's perfect for that.

Hey doubt you will see or get to this but any tips on how to color grade this camera?
Disappointed you didn't do a low light test for us, plus, if I'm going 3 bills for this cam, I will just wait, save, and get a Sony A5100 and a cam link for less than 500. No gimbal on it, but I think that feature will only be utilized by a limited amount of this cams market. Beautiful picture tho. Too bad they haven't done a non gimbal version of this cam for the streamer market.
In terms of image quality alone, does this pretty much blow the Logitech Brio out of the water, as well as the Dell Ultrasharp webcam?
