This is the hippiest phone yet, and it works; all the little things make a huge difference. They got me on the wrist strap. I can't tell you how many photos I would have got if I had the lanyard, for those candid moments. Thank you Sony for all the preps you add to prep photo take. I will still use my mirror-less camera for planned/important occasions as this by no means a replacement; but for everything else, such as the candids, this is kinda nice to have. You know, I never saw anyone complaining about the Sharp 5G AQUOS R6, why are so many onto Sony, please allow Sony to do it's thing. This is snot for the point and shooters, definitely not for the iPhone users. Perhaps those who are good at prepping and love tweaking, or perhaps love the general esthetics of this phone. It one where the name pro, means it, many don't get that still (since they are used for the pro meaning free for all). ipad Pro vs Surface pro? two different use. Sony knows what they are doing. By the way, nice hands on review; I enjoyed watching and was a pleasant surprise to be on c|net. I will definitely check back for the fun factor-repeat.
I would love this phone. I’m a big fan of the Alpha Camera Series and own an A7III but its too cumbersome to bring it with me all the time.
The design looks so good tho!

It is clear that this smartphone is better in photphoto-video compared to others, but better just for professionals and youtubers but who strangely will not buy it and return on their beloved iPhones after the test videos 🤧.
The same smartphone (keeping the photo sensors and pro applications) with a screen between FHD – QHD (4k on this screen size is useless) 120 hertz at variable frequency but also and above all a standard photo application as on iPhones,Samsung and Pixel (for automatic photos and videos ready for social networks) a much better selfie camera that can shoot in 4k, all in maximum $1200 range, where Sony is going to sell it tons.
But there as it is, Sony will sell only 17 as usual.

$2,499.99 is the price of the Sony Xperia Pro 5G. That is insanity. Whoever would pay that for a phone is nuts. I cannot possibly fathom paying more for a phone than a OLED TV. Wow. Someone at Sony is asleep at the wheel. Nice going Manowitz. Pure stupidity. But then all of Sony's phones are now over $1,000. What does that say about them. They have given up the market. Their target market is now the 1%. Haha. Unreal.
Does it have manual white balance setting? I would not take a photo with unreliable AWB.
