Any update on the service? I live in rural Ontario and I'm interested in getting service from across the border since they have 5g. It's about 2 to 3km away. Even if I get lte I would be happy.

As a Cellular and internet technician that uses cel-fi gear, It literally blew my mind that they have boosters that transfer boosted signal over ethernet. Its much better than running fat LMR 400 coax all over the house!

I have the cel-fi go x and it's constantly boosting from 1 bar to 5 bars. Over the course of thos video I've went from no signal to 5 bars about 12 times. I wouldn't say it bad but if I didn't have wifi, I'd be SOL about 80% of the day.

I live in brutalist old soviet building which is an 8 story high building with 3 apartments on each floor and its full concrete every single wall is made out of it. And yet even in the basement I get like 200-300 mbps 4G
at a satellite tv installer, this is going to be fucking PAINFUL to watch someone install this.
do not put these kinds of things on the siding. the siding is meant to flex and move with heat, if you put them on the siding, you restrict and crush the siding.
Put them on the edge of the roofing and use proper sealant between the foot plate and the roof.
They have a ridiculous price tag, costing 3x anybody else.

What about something for those in an apartment with a tower at the entrance, so reception is bad even outside, when it's also the same tower for the same service you have? Solve this one for me please.
given how many varied and "incompatible" smart devices are integrated into your house, why not make a website that's only accessible on your network specifically for navigating to each service's website? though i suppose that wouldn't mean jack if there's just apps for them.

thank God my phone supports WiFi calling. I have Verizon and I have no service at my house at all. Before 5G I had service at my house, which is frustrating that they upgrade to faster signals but the range dropped substantially. there is a 5G box at the top of my neighborhood too. it's pathetic, and I definitely don't have $1000 for a Cel-Fi system.
Just use WiFi calling? iPhone and many androids have this feature now

I have no cell signal in my place but my provider allows for cell service over WiFi. So, my WiFi carries my calls. Works great. When I have guests they can access the guest network and toggle that on. Voila.
I live in a larger block of flats and the entire place is made of concrete on the out side and inside made in the 1960s soo signal is not a thing
