I just installed an MSI 4080 in my build, updated the drivers, deleted cyberpunk and reinstalled it and I still don't have DLSS frame generation as an option. I can only choose between DLSS auto, balanced, quality, performance, and ultra performance just like before. I'm only getting 60 or so FPS on ray tracing ultra settings with dlss on balanced. I have a 12700k, 64 gb of 3600 mhz ram and a 5000 mhz aorus nvme ssd. I feel like I should be getting much higher fps as my 3080 ti was getting better than I'm getting now. What am I doing wrong and why don't I have frame generation option?
This helped me find my first PC build. my build is a little more future proof with upgrade potential, I could handle a 4090 at max power and even RTX 5000 when it comes out! I got a Fractal torrent case, MSI 4080 Trio, MSI x670e Carbon, Ryzen 9 7950x, Dark Rock Pro 4, Gskill DDR5 6000 Flare X5, 2TB Crucial P5 Plus, Seasonic Prime 1300w platinum. I went for the most reliable parts with best ratings.

Once again… not a gaming PC the fuck at all. Why can't you just title these videos accurately? You do NOT NEED a fucking Ryzen 9 or even 7 to game. I am SO TIRED of seeing Ryzen 9s in videos titled GAMING PC BUILD. This AIN'T A GAMING PC. If this were a gaming PC it would have a 7600x/13600k and a 7900xtx or 4090. You do not spend 500 extra fucking dollars on double the CPU cores you need for no fucking reason instead of spending on the GPU, PERIOD. Even COMPUTER PROCESSES like OS and productivity things are starting to rely more on the GPU than CPU in windows 11, its been trending like this for a DECADE. This build is a WORKSTATION. It would do absolute dogshit in games compared to someone who spent the same money but put most of it into the GPU. Plus you buy shit RAM and a shit branded overpriced motherboard – like you have such a boner for Asus why did you not at least use them instead of gigashit… Like guys in the comments.. please unless you do heavy productivity and tons of shit NOT mentioned anywhere in this video… hell even then, don't build anything a single iota like this. Pretty much every part on this is a shit choice which is fucking hard to do but hey you did it. Way to pump out garbage content for minimal likes and views and turn youtube into a shit sponsored corporate job and getting rid of any kind of real helpful info you could actually give people. Every single one of these shitty videos is just "Hey! Look at the parts my sponsor wants me to show off THIS week! Here's a COMPLETELY irrelevant use case build no one would EVER buy!"
