I just got rtx 3070 for 450$ around 1-2 months ago and I am not going to upgrade until rtx 6080 well if 6080 cost more than 1000$ I skipp that too and look at second hand market of 5070 ;). I am just on 1440p now
Maybe close to 2x faster but nor even close to 3x in any game when you run without dlss xD Nvidia just show how good dlss 3.0 is not how good GPU is.

currently got 3080 , so thinking 4080 16gb would be a good upgrade, however the benchmark stats are heavily stacked on dlss3 , so will be interesting to see the actual difference on games like Warzone and F1 22 before committing to purchase.
Everyone is upset about the price, I just don't get it. I'm willing to bet the price would be less if the worlds economy wasn't wrecked by the covid plandemic and hurtled into expected inflation from awful government spending. Politicians on both sides continue to add to our national defecit causing the national debt to increase. 4000 series is not worth the cost and not much an improvement over equivalent 3000 series.

I'm looking to start the journey of building my first gaming PC. The games that I normally are all the total war games and the latest addition is total war Warhammer 3 ! I'm really looking to play this game at 4k with all setting on ultra. what would be my best option the 4080RTX or the 4090RTX ? I'm not sure if the 4090 would be overkill for the games that I'm playing. Any help with this would be great thanks.
