might as well just lap the ihs and go with it instead of delidding.
main issue with this is that cupper and gallium will react and liquid metal will "dry out".
Maybe precuring cupper surface with LM will create layer of CuGa2 and it will not dry out anymore, but I did not test that.

yea never use blend for testing the cpu, that test does a bit of cpu/memory controller/ram. run small and use custom set the max size to the L2 or if you want L3 cache size.

The thing I don't understand is they said it costs Intel $33 to make their IHS, and Linus just payed $33 (with Rockit Cool taking a profit) for the aftermarket IHS. Why can't Intel make the same quality as the aftermarket IHS for $33???
Copper is a more expensive metal, malleable, ductile and is a great thermo isolator and would cost a ton to mass produce these

I see all kinds of projects and new technology that will increase the use of energy. Wouldn't it more thoughtful in the period of HIGH energy prices to show how we can use less energy by using a tablet for instance. Ofcource it is nice to game on a Monitor from 55" or use a GPU and CPU witch use more energy thev then an average heater. Or perhaps use the energy comming from the water cooler to heat up your boiler? Every watt of energy you use again (sustainable energy) will keep the money in your pocket.
Just a tech tip from a Dutch guy. Yes i know dutch people are infamous for the way we spend our money, but in the energy crisis we live at the moment I think the whole world should do that.
