MAJOR mistake made here. Apple trade in by mail does offer you cash back on trade in NOT just by Apple gift card. They make you pay full price for phone upfront, once you send in your trade in by mail they will reimburse you with the same form of payment you paid for the phone at that full price for your old phones trade in value. Was just on Apple website the other day.
You can trade-in your iPhone to Apple for a trade-in credit towards a new device purchase, or that money can be put on a gift card if you're not looking to replace it with another device

I preordered the 14 pro at the TMobile store and will be trading in my XR when I pick up the new phone. My XR trade in value was $400. This dropped the price of the 14pro to $600.
Just out of curiosity I went to the Apple website to see what they would give me for my 2 month old iPhone 13 Pro 1tb towards the 14 Pro. Their offer was $600. I paid $1600 for it in early July.
I am still using my IPhone 8 Plus but I am thinking about upgrading to the IPhone 14
My Nokia 1610 would be fine, if I could still get a battery – most important, I can see the keys and type a number, no matter how bright it is outside. Smartphones long ago reached the point where the basic entry-level device is more than adequate for 99.9% of users.

This video is absolutely false. When you trade in a Phone with apple and buy a new phone….you pay for the new phone upfront and when they receive your trade in they credit your card the amount of the trade In’s value, not a gift card.

I had a phone for the past couple years. When this iphone came out w my carrier they offered me the most amount of money I will ever get for this other phone. It was a no brainer
