Main reason to but a 3050 compared to an older higher model is not for it rtx cores…
but for its tensor cores for DLSS. It is a must for a low power build.
this is such a nice video to find! i'm building my own gaming pc pretty soon and I chose to just wait on the better GPU and build a machine where the other components are a bit nicer (to include a cooling system and processor) so it's great to find a recent build that includes the graphics card i've been looking at (though if prices do go down soon I'll be going for the 3060 or 3060ti as the starting GPU in the machine)

I went with a 450m board and a 2600x cpu to compliment my 3050. A few generations behind this build, but the gpu isn't bothered by it.

Yes rly helpful !! You can also go for the a bit cheaper rx 6600 which actuallu performs quite well . I dont know if it performs better or worst than the 3050 but it s a choice to keep in mind
