So in India 88$ spending behind internet/month is the craziest thing u will do the family of 8 can recharge (1.5gb/per day )the entire year plan in 88$ man.
Starlink will be running gigabit around the time fiber is running 100GBE for $100. Having said that, if you live in Somalia, this is gonna be great! If anyone remembers the early days of iridium, small towns in Africa got on board fast! Each town bought a phone for emergencies, but because it was expensive for Africa the market flattened fast! may local internet is at 35$, gives 260 mbps at peak usually at night and 100-150 mbps daytime
while here on my home, 2.4 mbps 🤣
Starlink are not suitable for big cities or any places already covered by fiber optic cable, starlink are for people who live in rural area where there is no cable internet available.
The best thing about Starlink is, now people can build a mansion in the middle of nowhere (where land prices are cheap) and still get access to the internet, because typical geostationary satellite internet usually slow, ping more than 1000ms (unusable for gaming), or too expensive for common people.
Seems good for rural areas, but not for me who lives in an urban area.
