I have been using Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 46mm LTE for about 6 month now.. I dont like theire phone so i have an Sony Xperia 1 lll.
I needed to read on some forum and ask for help at some forum. But it works good with a Sony phone..
I have the LTE version and it works to. That is the only time i needed a samsung phone to activate the E-Sim in the watch.
Then i removed alot of bloatware and other stuff i dont want. Even if the watch dont allow you to uninstall apps.
But it did not stop me.
I have removed:
Bixby
Samsung Pay
Installed a moded version on samsung health monitor that will work with other phones and some more apps that "cant" be uninstalled from the watch. It works greate. I will never use a watch without wearOS if i using android.
You can do alot more with the watch then you think if you google around abit.
Why tf are you spending the all the video time talking about the health function tf

I bought a watch because I wanted to know the time. It's other functions, pair it with a computer or phone, interesting but just wanted to know the time, so it's a decent watch. Appreciate your input.
Dude I think they got the idea of a smartwatch it being right..with apps yeah especially with health side they show they care but they still lack the capacity of showing a new tech product.
I believe the review is too focused on other android phones. I want to know how it works with a samsung phone!

Just one thing: contrary to what you said the Lte version has a better battery than this one and eventually will last longer. I bought the classic non lte tho better price.
Weird how we criticise Samsung for expecting folks to largely use their ecosystem… but would NEVER expect an apple watch to integrate with Fitbit for example!

LOL Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 ranked No. 1. Jokes. I used mine for less than 6 months and its dead. completely dead. Repair cost a whopping SGD$200 (~USD150). Might as well get a new one with a bit more $. And I don't even swim or dive with it. Only normal usage in non-harsh condition. Thrash watch. To think I have been using their phones for more than a decade. zzzz

About a month ago, I finally needed to move away from my Blackberry Key2 due to overheating and some physical keyboard issues. This mobile device was the last Blackberry phone produced in 2018. I then purchased a Google Pixel 6 A and the Samsung Watch 4. They work well together, and very satisfied with the Watch 4 and it seems to work well with the Pixel. I am no expert or engineer, but from my experience as an end user, it works with no issues. This Watch 4 by Samsung is though my first computer watch.

I've considered a smart watch for years, but I just can't see this standing up to my construction work abuse? Does the crystal stand up to punishment?
