It's ridiculous that this motherboard layout isn't standard, I mean it just makes so much sense to conceal cables this way.
f word I am scared 9:36 ( By the way good video!)
It is still struggle understanding, why solid front panels are so popular?
Are they cheaper?
Do buyers really prefer them?
I can’t believe a mesh front panel si really lore expensive…
Like really , do people not understand that fans don’t “create” air
Putting a fan in front of a solid panel , will give it very little airflow…
Even removing dust filters , reduces temperatures (at the cost of very high maintenance)
Imagine what a solid front panel does to your tempa
Airflow is overrated. – Gigabyte… Probably.
This time he dropped the whole pc
this is very good idea
Great vid. I took sometimes to make some "SPEEDHOLES" of myself on my pc because of this! Thanks for inspiring!
the fact you didnt spin that rear 120 fan and got the cable hanging in clear sight bothers me lol
i wish they would make all cases now on like this
This would be badass if implemented in an itx design
Damn it, I hope this becomes standard fair.
your liquid cooling is upside down
How is this patented? So any mobo manufacturers have to pay Maingear if they want to put any connectors on the back of their mobo? How about individual modders?
Cables make it look nice
After the shitshow I went through to RMA a gigabyte ultrawide monitor after the display adapter died out of nowhere, I refuse to buy anything under their brand again lmao
This is pretty sick. Honestly, all they need to do is cut out larger holes on the back so that it’s more universal.
The other option is they can create standards so that people can be confident for fitment.
Project: Have a great idea with the ugliest case on the market!
I was going to buy this case, but after this video I may have to rethink that. Damn gigabyte. Damn 😢
I hope they provide this patent to others copanions too, this is such a smart way to build.
2:17 very stupid question to be honest. Just think "why" and you should find that out
Meanwhile i have an SSD mounted via duct tape
why though? cables are just cables, and neatly routed cables can look quite good, empty cases with no neat cables to see are rather boring. yawnie
and how the hell is it worthy of a patent to just relocate the cable ports? seems like a shady thing.
