I am pro iphone i have regrets that i left iphone a side in 2018 but i will go back to iphone if they do 2 major things. Usb C to all their Iphone Ipad models even on the low end ipads. And when the apple watch comes out with the glucose meter. This second thing will help above on my therapy where as i am working towards a insuline pump therapy
How to transfer data then??
currently just carry a usb-c to iphone adapter and ask your friends for a cable – soon carry your hole wireless charger
I don't like to be THAT guy but most android phones have both the fingerprint scanner AND face-id via having it on the power button or under the screen so you didn't have to hang onto an iphone 7.
How will CarPlay work without a port?
Touch ID, no notch, usbc, and more intuitive gestures count me in! If not, I will be sticking to my Pixel.
If you can somehow make a magsafe to aux adapter for an older car then I'm down. Plan on saving up for a 2008 S class so…

I would not upgrade my phone if they removed the Lightning port. I use CarPlay every day, and the car I bought just a couple years ago supports wired CarPlay, but not wireless CarPlay. That incentivizes me to wait to upgrade my phone until I upgrade my vehicle.
Unless they do CarPlay via MagSafe somehow, I’m out.
Literally got my 12 pro in December and talks of a new one
I just thought of something. In my car I don't have wireless Apple Carplay. So, I have to plug in every-time if I want to use Apple Carplay. So if they remove the lightning port, will this mean I can't use Apple carplay anymore on my car? Or does it mean that Apple will release a corded magsafe plug to be used with the iPhone 13?
I’m still an iPhone user after 11 years, but it hasn’t done anything amazing. Only longer battery life.
if wireless charging can become fast charging
New iPhone 13 Air = the low end iPhone with no lighting port, only two cameras.
iPhone 13 pro = will have lightning port and 4 cameras
iPhone 13 will essentially be iPhone 12 Pro but with faster SOC.
iPhone mini will not return. No many people want a small screen iPhone when they can get a used or refurbished iPhone XR cheap.

I`m not fussed about having Touch ID or not , i`m fine either way .
However taking away the charge/data port is a big deal , if this comes to fruition I`ll go back to android devices(probably a Galaxy) .
Preferably we would get USB-C over the lightning port .

I’m always using my phone while I’m charging my phone, so this is just a horrible idea!!!
I love most everything about my 12 pro Max, but words like “hate” and “loathe” don’t even come close to describing the disdain I’ve developed for Face ID. I usually wait several years before upgrading, but I will upgrade as soon as they bring Touch ID back.

Apple will not produce any new model at last 2 years because they are helping to environment you not see last year that the remove charge for save environment there for this time no more phones and no more bad environment ☺🤑
Since they removed everything from the box they lost me as costumer considering that from my next phone onwards I will not stick with Apple after replacing my 8 plus and XS (which I alternate use of)…. But if Apple even removes all ports it just becomes ridiculous for me… And no touch id is not a good trade for the removal of the ports….. Next year onwards I will stick with Sony or LG… Not even Samsung since they also removed all accessories from their flagship boxes… Sorry Apple/Samsung but you lost me as a consumer…. Lots of people will go cry themselves to bed holding an Ipod classic or some other iconic apple product and choose to remember the Apple they always admired….
Taking away charging port means less control for the user. I can’t even use things with my phone like my wired headphones. It should at least be an option. They take away port I’m switching away from iPhones
