Can you update this video and see if nvidia has done a better job with rezizable bar. Just upgraded to 5900x, waiting for it to come in the mail i have a 3060ti but not sure if its worth enabling it.
it makes almost no difference whatsoever. the idea, that you are missing out on 10% of your gpu's full power by not tinkering around in your bios to enables this and for example also XMP ram is silly. if you want proof, just google it and read some articles instead of listening to shills here on yt who want to sell their merch and generate ad revenue.

I have been trying for months to enable it it says it's on in the BIOS but when I booed into Windows Nvidia control panel says it's not
Can't seem to turn mine on, bios allowed me to go from disabled to auto but nvidia control panel still tells me it is not on.
The single biggest IT Question I'd love for you to answer, is , given a very minimal budget, what is the smartest upgrade for my msi z490 gaming edge with i9-10900K 64 GB DDR3 3600Mhz 10GB RTX 3080 …. if I swap out the cpu for 11th gen, does that UNLOCK ,GEN 4 for my Samsung 980Pro SSD I just ordered, will resizeable REBAR be BETTER because it now has twice as many pci express lanes jumping from 32 to 64 lanes (is that accurate on this board, will my RTX 3080 theoretically have its performance enhanced kicking in to GEN 4 mode ? my board has the latest bios update, shouldn't i see much improved SSD (that is gen 4) and 3080 RTX pci bus actually double, simply by replacing the CPU from the preferred i9-10900k to the i9-11900k, even with its fewer cores, if my gen 4 devices all of a sudden theoretically have some kind of doubling of pathways of data travelling on pci bus lanes….wont my flight sim msfs 2020 improve even more ? that's why i designed this custom build from clx guys …. ) i don't want to spend tons of money, i'm in Vancouver canada (so my rent just tripled in the past 2 years !) so i'm thinking if a 500$ CPU basically makes everything nearly double in performance, on existing motherboard, supporting the max chip it will support LGA 1200 … do you support my thiking yah, sell off the i9-10900k that's been used a total of 8 months in past 2 years … and buy the i9-11900k maxing out this board's cpu …. ??
I enabled this. It made most games feel like I was running a 15 year old SLI setup 😹 To much stuttering and wild FPS swings. Congrats on making a turd look like a candy bar tho haha yum!

Some of AMD's recent releases only function at PCIe 4.0. How are these going to function in PCIe 3.0 boards? PCIe 3.0 is far from being completely saturated so unless it is purposely crippled it should work. What say you Intel? Can these GPUs work on PCIe 3 machines?

I bought a $200 Z390 H for my 9700 K 3 years ago and Asus ROG refuses to release the firmware update for the Z 300 boreds which are only three years old. Even companies like gigabyte released the firmware for the Z 300 boards. I’m so tired of these companies creating artificial bottlenecks and scarcity in the middle of a fucking recession and pandemic.
