  1. Thanks for watching everyone! Divers sound off: Apple Watch Ultra or standalone dive computer? If dive computer, which one? Let me know down below 🌊

  2. What's next how many times I take a leak? These small updates aren't worth upgrading from my Series 7. I have the Series 7, SE and I did have the series 6 but the back glass broke so I threw it away.

  3. You can turn off the wrist detection then you won’t need passcode

i'll be patient for next gen for sure

  4. Since its a monthly subscription plan its a hard pass from me as a dive computer. My old D6i can transfer logs to cloud, has wireless pressure sensor and works great. Hate that I cant recharge it. But if I had to upgrade the Garmin Descent would be a far more better choice with pressure sensor, quick sync of logs and add GPS coordinates to dive locations. I have a lot of backup devices like analog pressure gauge but no dive computer backup for now since I dont do tech dives or complex dives.

  5. your gloves fit poorly

  6. Nice overview! seems a bit too finicky for my liking, for diving it’s all about keep it simple and easy to use. I stick with my shearwaters!

  7. Too bad this video doesn’t show how the no deco time works thats the most important thing on a dive computer he always was too shallow

Better think twice before you buy, because no liquid damage warranty by Apple

  8. Nice video, but why do you wear so many clothes, gloves, neoprene suit, as if you were diving in Antarctica, it looks ridiculous!

  9. Please use metric units next time or at least add the metric conversion on the screen so the viewer dosent have to do it. Good video, but thumbs down. 🥲

  10. So we not gonna talk about the bonobo track?

  11. I had an important difference when a did a Deep Dive (30 Mts); between my Sunnto Eon Core and my Apple Watch ultra I had 5 minute in No Deco Time. I think is much

  12. Hi the oceanic must be connect to internet to works????

  13. I’m a bit apprehensive about these. I’m in the market for my first computer but it’s my personal opinion that a critical piece of dive safety equipment should be designed and used specifically for diving. Not something that is used every day with other capabilities in mind. It might be a great option to have as a backup though in case your primary computer were to fail on a dive. Better than nothing that’s for sure.

  14. I have realised I will not spend that amount of $ for a watch that in 4 years is obsolete. My S3 is already out of updates… why? Still works fine. So get the cheapest , these are dispoable items.

  15. So the hardware is there but you have to pay to use it? Didn't they take lessons from BMW?

  16. you lost me at subscription…

  17. Yeah, nah

  18. Sponsored by Apple?

  19. Muito Bom

  20. But i don’t do scuba diving

  21. Sorry, but this is nothing but a gimmick.

  22. Looks cool, but Id rather just use one thats purpose made for diving. Plus I spent a lot on my perdix 2 lol

  23. True pro would not use this toy crap for the real job.

  24. dont forget your charger…lol

  25. Question: How many people go deep sea diving on daily basis and how many of them buy Apple Watch Ultra?!😊

  26. Why didn't you turn the passcode off for the tests lol

  27. By the end of next year the word of mouth around this watch from the dive community will make this a hit

  28. I still don't trust it

  29. I would love to be able to drop a pin at the boat anchor.

  30. i'll just stay with my sunnto

  31. The subscription model on something you have already brought is obnoxious. Subscriptions for content ok, subscriptions for features on a device you have already brought should be illegal. You are seeing car companies do it for heated seats and even sportier acceleration. Now on an Apple watch good god. This is the future, where even if you buy it, you still need to buy it again. Disgusting!

  32. FENIX 7X Sapphire Solar test it.

  33. i also want to do that but is so expensive…😀

So apple made a watch that can be used by an industry this will be gone by 2050 because of climate change.

  34. Subscription based? Omg. Although I also don't dive so I have no idea what goes into creating this app so maybe that makes sense haha

  35. 1 000$👎🤮💦

  36. Adventurous types: Needing more than one day battery life from an Apple watch.

  37. I find reversing aWatch to have the crown toward my arm side, and turn the crown with my thumb is way easier

  38. No good, dive computer is cheaper.

  39. dive computer Suunto D6i NOVO INSTRUCTOR – as my life depends on it, I will stick with professional gear 🙂

  40. Hopefully, apple watch ultra supports free diving mode in the future

  41. I like how you jumped in without all the bs .
