I agree in some aspects, the outer screen really does need to be made more usable! In most cases you HAVE to open the phone to continue with anything that doesn’t just require more than a basic response. But my big disagreement comes with the camera analyses, I have found the camera on the Flip 3 to be almost unusable! I came to the Flip 3 from an S9 + or Ultra, whatever the top tier was called that generation, and the cameras were way better on the S9 than the Flip 3! Low or dim light photos on the flip always come back extremely blurry if my hand or subjects aren’t completely still for up to 5 seconds! Even daylight shots are grainy or blurry if I’m not completely still! I am a huge shutter bug and my top social media app is Instagram, I’ve gone from posting up to 10 pics a week (I live in a very scenic part of the uk) to maybe 1 every other week. I love flip phones and I don’t want to have to go back to standard slabs, but if they don’t up the camera game, I might have to.

I like the Z Flip and wish it had a bigger cover screen. I'm thinking of going to the Motorola RAZR because I can use apps like YouTube and watch videos on the small screen which is the same size when watching YouTube on the big screen in portrait but with less physical phone to hold🤠
Larger cover screen, so I can actually respond to messages without opening the phone
If you make the smaller screen larger then it’ll just become the screen- they should keep it this size but more functionality
What has to matter is the ram capacity that is higher than 8 cores and the battery that is like apple's that lasts a whole day between movies, videos and games

Looking forward to the new flip as I'm Interested in changing my s21. After lockdown I don't even need to my phone that much as I'm mostly home working and I can access most of the apps on my tablet.
not appealing until it has much larger battery (4500 mah or more) and faster charging speed (50W and above), and of course, no crease!
It's a shame that shipped isn't sold. Which explains why Foldables flop every year. 💯

There is a hack that you can use for the Galaxy flip the Galaxy flip phone that will allow you to use the cover screen just like the open screen And yes you can watch YouTube videos just on a smaller screen and enconserve battery. Would be nice for a software upgrade what would allow you to do that without having to use exterior 3rd party applications.
If they could squeeze in an extendable S-Pen in here, that'd really make it for me.

My wife and I had the Z Flip 3 for a year. One of my favorite things about it was the ability to fold it in half and slide it into my pocket. Whenever I got a notification I would use it like a pager and if it was a phone call I'd flip it open if I wanted to answer it. The battery would last me about 12hrs, but it would charge pretty fast using my 18w charging port on my USB C desk outlet. It was a good phone, but has a handful of gimmicks that not a lot people would use.
