Absolutely in love with my Watch 4 44mm, won't be upgrading. People like to laugh at Bixby, but if you use Bixby capsules, it's extremely useful. You really need to not just dismiss Bixby right away and look into capsules. If you aren't sure what capsules are, search for a video about it and discover how amazingly useful they can make Bixby.

I'm a longtime Android and more specifically Samsung user and have been holding off on upgrading from my Galaxy Watch 3 LTE (which runs Tizen so app selection is limited). Between Google's Youtube Music and Android Auto fuckups (Android Auto stalled, took a giant crap in quality, and Youtube Music royally sucks. Bring back Google Play Music because it actually fraking worked!), and Samsung's refusal to implement a skating workout in Health (It's available on the phone but not the watch), I'm seriously considering switching back to the iPhone (I switched to Android after iPhone 4).

Do they finally have a skating workout?
Does the new Samsung watch (or Android Wear at large) get all your phone apps by default, like Apple users enjoy?

After buying my wife an Apple Watch Series 7 and discovering she gets all her phone apps on her watch automagically, including things like the Roku app, smarthome control apps, etc. – I am more seriously considering going back to Apple's walled garden. After playing with my wife's Apple Phone for about ten minutes, I now understand why Apple Watch is dominating – I had no appreciation for it because I never gave Apple Watch a second look after their first milquetoast Apple Watch release.

The feature most likely to keep me in the Android technosphere at this point is Samsung's sapphire cystals (Apple still uses borosilicate glass, which is only marginally better than mineral glass for active athletes and adreanaline junkies), but really, when I can buy insurance on the watch and slap on a screen protector, that renders the sapphire crystal to a footnote.

Oh – and when I read about Galaxy 4's poor battery life… you have my condolences. That's why I skipped the GW4 and held out for GW5… and now seeing Samsung killed what made GW great (the rotating bezel delivered an amazing user experience), I'm thinking of jumping off the Android shit^Hp altogether.

I'm a Linux professional… saying Android has gotten that stale and Samsung's watches along with the rest of the crap. Fooking get it together, Google and Samsung! It's true that Apple may be all about vendor lock-in, but these days they're really kicking butt on their mobile devices and have leapfrogged a few megaparsecs ahead of you.

I fully embrace open standards, but when you've got longstanding bugs and feature requests and refusal to do simple things like align workout tracking in the same app on the Smartphone and Smartwatch, and open source community is unable to fix it because those components are proprietary, you've failed and killed the benefits of an open platform so frak it, I may as well buy into the vendor lock and get the superior experience. Google, Samsung: you've failed on the smartwatch front and with Android Auto and Youtube Music sucking harder than a Dyson lately, you're killing what made the Android smartphone great.

I don't get why they would remove the rotating bezel. That was the coolest feature of Galaxy watches.
